Strolling Down Coffee Memory Lane

It's almost time for the 2023 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  Today Amy walked down memory lane and posted her own favorite cards from each year's hop.  Then she invited all of us to do the same.   If you do this and link up at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog there is a prize up for grabs.  Read all about it HERE. When I went back to look I saw I had been participating since 2017.  It was such fun looking back at all of my cards through the years for this hop.   Hope you enjoy strolling down memory lane with me.

Kissing Deer Christmas Card

I spent time in my craft room this morning (and luckily didn't hurt myself or turn over any tables...like yesterday).  I wanted to get one more card made for the BYSHC Linky Party "Falling For The Holidays."
I used a stamp set with matching dies by Reverse Confetti called Deerly which Stephanie brought when she visited back in August.  Such a cute stamp set and lots of fun to play with.  Thanks for dropping by and remember to meet me under the mistletoe!  I'll be linking up this card at:

Flamingo Christmas Card

I have to tell you what happened to me before I made this card this morning.  I was in my craft room standing at my Big Shot cutting a die.  I turned around and lost my balance which made go hurling through my craft room landing on the floor....knocking over a chair and the table my Silhouette Cameo plus laptop sit on.  This broke one of the legs on that table....and pretty sure I broke my pinkie toe on left foot.  Plus when I hit, my back hit edge of table and OUCH....so sore now.  I took a photo (see below).
My Big Shot is on top of that white filing cabinet in top right of photo....so that is where I was....and ended up in the middle of the turned over table.  So after dusting off my pride and resetting my toe which was stuck out at an odd angle, straightening all the turned things up...I made this card!  Never say I don't let anything get in the way of my card making...even being a klutz....wink!  Thanks for dropping by and remember don't lose your balance in your craft room!  I'll be linking up this card up at:

Rudolph The Reindeer Card

I was having such fun this morning digging through my Hampton Art woodblock stamps I decided to make another card.  The Rudolph stamp is a large stamp which makes it perfect to use as the only stamp!  Sometimes simple is best and I think that applies to this stamp as well.  I stamped it on red cardstock with a Tsukineko VersaFine Onyx Black ink pad.  Then I used a stitched rectangle die to trim the image (The Stamps of Life).  I used a Christmas background embossing folder on a black cardstock panel to adhere the stamped image to.  Put a red/black twine bow in bottom right corner for a finishing touch....for a fast and easy holiday card!  Thanks for dropping by...remember to let Rudolph play in YOUR reindeer games...wink.  I'll be linking Rudolph up at:

Santa Happy Holidays Card

Loving this autumn cooler weather!  It is so nice when I walk every morning and it makes me come in the house rearing to head to my craft room!  Today a new "Woodblock Wednesday" went up at my friend Amy Tsuruta's blog.  I love getting to create with my treasured woodblock stamps.  I still have all of mine which I have collected through the years.  It's fun looking at them and picking out the perfect one for a project in mind.  The above woodblock stamps are by Hampton Art.  This Santa was one of the first ones I saw this morning when I opened my box of Hampton Art woodblock stamps.  It had been years since I've used him and decided to ink him up.  After stamping, I colored the image with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils.  It has been a while since I colored with them too...and decided this morning I need to use them more often!  I used the Catherine Pooler Belly Laughs Cover Plate Die for the background (cut from light gray cardstock).  I added clear rhinestones and a white twine bow for the finishing touches.  Thanks for stopping by...remember to ho ho ho since Christmas is slowly sneaking up on us.  I'll be linking jolly old St Nick at:

Caroling Cats Christmas Card

It might be a Monday but it is not all bad when you can find a few minutes to create a card.  I'm still having fun making Christmas cards with cats for the Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge honoring Janis Woolbright.  Thanks for dropping by and remember to teach your cats to sing Christmas carols...wink.  I'm going to link this one up at

Bootiful Card

I always enjoy making Halloween cards.  I also like mailing them to friends and family!  Found a little crafty time to play with an older Penny Black cling Frankenstein stamp this afternoon.  This stamp always makes me smile and is such fun to color.  I also used patterned paper from DCWV and a spider web design embossing folder from Sizzix.  The sentiment is computer generated with a vintage typewriter font.  The felt ghost was from a package found at Michael's a few years back (trying to use things I have).  The fence is a sticker from K&Company (older too).  I'm going to link this friendly Frankenstein up at:

Penny Black Saturday Challenge -- Halloween Bingo (I did the row of sentiment, black and patterned papers)

Thanks for visiting and remember you are BOOTIFUL!!!!

Witching You Card

I had creating fun in my craft room this morning after trying to get in there ALL week!  Darn those pesty chores....wink!  I wanted to join the Time Out Vintage Challenge.  I found these cute little girls in my stash from a package of Tim Holt paperdolls.  The stamped sentiment is from the Monster Mash set by Photoplay.
The patterned papers are from a paper pad found at Michael's last year.  The oval die cut is by Gina Marie.  I added just a touch of Tangerine Stickles to the paper dolls for sparkle.  The felt "boo" is from my stash (package from Michael's years ago).  Thanks for dropping by.  I'll be linking these little witches at:

Sledding Cat Christmas Card

I have created another card for The Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge in honor of Janis Woolbright.  This one was such fun to make using the Tim Holtz Snarky Cat Christmas stamps.  I also used an older Tim Holtz Sizzx die set for the pine boughs.  Thanks for stopping by and remember to watch out for trees if you are sledding like the cat above....wink.  I'm linking this adventurous cat up at:

Warm Holiday Wishes Card

Wanted to make another cat themed Christmas card this morning for The Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge (honoring Janis Woolbright our crafty cat loving friend who passed away in January of this year).  I used the Christmas Kitties stamp set by Simon Says Stamp for the image plus sentiment.  It's always nice to get another Christmas card made for this holiday's mailings.  I'm linking up these sweater wearing kitties at:

Meditation Card

Got to spend crafty time this morning so you know I am having a good day....wink!  I wanted to do a card for the current Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers which is X Is For Xanadu.  After putting on my thinking cap, I came up with this card.  I used a Studio Light -- Art by Marlene stamp for the woman image.  The wine glass image is one by Essentials by Ellen.  The sentiments are computer generated with a vintage typewriter font.  Thanks for checking out my fun card...remember to stay crafty!

Define Naughty Christmas Card

I've created another card for the Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge remembering our crafty friend Janis Woolbright.  I used lots of pink in making this one so I could join the Jingle Belles Dreaming of a Pink Christmas Challenge too.  Thanks for dropping by.  Hope you are having a fun crafty day!

Christmas Is Gnoming Card

Yesterday was World Cardmaking Day and I spent a happy morning in my craft room making cards!  How cool is it that we cardmakers have our very own holiday!  The first card I made was for a World Cardmaking Day Challenge at Kat Scrappiness.  You were to create a card with 1 sentiment, 2 diecuts (or more) and 3 pieces of patterned paper (or more).  I remembered a cute stamp set I had by Kat Scrappiness which featured gnomes.  One in particular is holding a cup which would also be perfect for the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge for October which is gnomes.  I used the stamp set Christmas Gnome by Kat Scrappiness.  I also used patterned papers by Kat Scrappiness (Cuppa Christmas Slimline).  The square and circle die cuts are by Spellbinders.  I'm linking this one up at:

Thanks for dropping by.  Remember to stay crafty!

Pink Meowy Christmas Card

It is a cloudy with a little rain day so I spent happy time in my craft room this morning.  I wanted to do a second card for the Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge in honor of Janis Woolbright who sadly passed away in January of this year.  There is also a new challenge up at Jingle Belles which is "I'm Dreaming of a Pink Christmas."  So this was the perfect time to combine the two challenges.

The stamps are an older set in my stash from Simon Says Stamp (pretty sure they are retired).  The square die is one from Spellbinders (plus I used a snowflake pattern embossing folder on it after cutting out).  This was a fun card to put together and I have a cat loving friend who will love receiving it at Christmas time.

If you haven't checked out the Cat Lovers Christmas Challenge going on at Christmas Kickstart for the month of October, you are missing out!  There are lots of prizes and it is such a nice way to remember our friend Janis.  Thanks for stopping by and hope you are having a crafty day!

Kitty Presents Card

The Christmas Kickstart Challenge is having a very special October event remembering Janis Woolbright.  Janis was always so nice to me and I looked forward to her Cat Lovers Blog Hop each year.  She had it for eight years and I got to partcipate in the last seven of them.

During this special remembrance hop at Christmas Kickstart Challenge, you can create up to six cat themed Christmas cards and link them for a chance at prizes.  There are lots of companies participating and I want to thank them for donating great prizes.

For my first card in this special event, I used a fun stamp set by Colorado Crafts (But First Presents).  First I stamped the sentiments on a white 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch panel with black ink at the top and bottom as shown.  Then I stenciled a star pattern using a blue Distress Oxide ink pad in a oval shape in the center.  After coloring the stamped images with alcohol markers, I trimmed them closely.  I adhered to the stenciled oval (using pop dots on the cat image).  I secured a red twine bow in the top right of the stenciled stars and bam....I had a cat themed Christmas card ready to be mailed in December!  Yay!

Make sure you check out all the fun at Christmas Kickstart during the month of October as we honor our
special friend Janis Woolbright.  Thanks for dropping by and remember to stay crafty!
