One more for the Not 2 Shabby December Challenge.  I was happy to craft this afternoon and didn't even feel guilty about it.  I had put all the Christmas decorations away plus cleaned!  I used an image from the Not 2 Shabby set called Drink Happy Thoughts.

Joyful Gnome Cup Card

What do you do after putting all the Christmas decorations away?  You happily spend time in your craft room which has not seen much of you the past few busy weeks.  Here is another card for the Not 2 Shabby December Challenge.  I used the Not 2 Shabby Drink Happy Thoughts stamp set.

Drink Happy Thoughts Card

I'm happy to say all the Christmas decorations are put away and the house is clean!   This definitely called for a celebration and by celebration I mean crafty time.  I wanted to join in on the fun at the Not 2 Shabby December Challenge (see photo below).  I used the Not 2 Shabby stamp set called Drink Happy Thoughts.

Simple Joys Christmas Card

Ink Paws Challenge #213

Are you getting ready for the big day?  It is almost here!  I spent the morning in the kitchen working on dishes for our feast which we will have on Christmas Eve.  I had colored the cute image from Newton's Nook yesterday while watching a Christmas movie.  I wanted to join in on the fun at the Inky Paws Challenge which is a sketch challenge.  I managed to slip away a few minutes and put this card together.  I'm getting it done in the nick of time!  The stamp set is Christmas Nap by Newton's Nook.  For my card I turned the sketch sideways.  Thanks for stopping by....I better get back in the kitchen!  That food doesn't fix itself!  Happy Holidays!

 

Joy Snowman Jar Card

With all the Christmas preparations under way, I needed a few minutes to myself and some "craft therapy."  With that in mind, I also wanted to join in on the fun at several fun challenges.  Recently I spent a morning stenciling backgrounds with glitter paste for future backgrounds.  I chose one of them for this card plus green glitter cardstock by Altenew (Forest Canopy Glitter).  The stencil I used is by Newton's Nook (Snowfall Stencil).  The stamp images are by Woodware Crafts (Snow Jar) except for the polka dot cup image.  I finished it off with a word die in the top left corner cut from blue glitter fun foam.  This snowman is going to be joining these challenges:

Joys of the Season Card

I am scrambling around doing my many "elf" duties before Christmas.  Did baking and wrapping today but I also managed to slip into my craft room to relax and make a card....shhh, don't tell Santa.  Wink!  I wanted to join the color challenge at Newton's Nook plus a couple of other fun challenges.  The green snowflake background was done with a Newton's Nook snowflake stencil and white texture paste.  I die cut it with an older die from my stash.  I used a new stamp set from Newton's Nook called Holiday Haul.  It was a lot of fun to color with alcohol markers.  I'm going to link this one up at:
