Birdcage Thanks Card

Birdcage Thanks Card
The challenge at City Crafter this week is to create a thank you card. I used Hampton Art rubber stamps with some patterned paper (along with the the brads and lace) by BoBunny. The embossing folder is by Sizzix. The crocheted flower is by American Crafts. (Everytime I see these flowers, I want to hunt up my crochet hooks and try to make some myself.) :) I hope your week has started off well. I see a very busy Tuesday for me so better get to it. Thanks for stopping by. ;)

Birthday Girl Card

Birthday Girl Card
This card is based on the sketch at Just Us Girls this week. The FedEx delivery man had delivered some pretty new crocheted flowers by American Crafts Friday. They were "begging" to be played with yesterday. :) The second I saw the sketch at Just Us Girls I knew how I would use one of them. :) The swirl diecut is by Sizzix. The patterned paper, brad and rhinestones are by My Mind's Eye. The rub-ons are by Royal & Langnickel. Easy peasy card....thanks Just Us Girls. :)

Three Owls Birthday Card

Three Owls Birthday Card
I loved the sketch over at Card Patterns challenge site this week. I love to use circles on my cards (which is a good excuse to get out those circle punches hidden away in a drawer). :) The patterned paper by My Mind's Eye reminded me of stamps by Hampton Art that I have. The trim is by My Mind's Eye and the embossing folder by Sizzix. The label maker and clear tape are by Dymo. The trusty circle punch is by EK Success. The Card Patterns sketch made this a fast and easy card.....thanks Card Patterns. :) Do you have a fun Sunday planned? We have the new Robin Hood movie with Russell Crowe in from Netflix. I see a movie, popcorn and nap in my afternoon. :) Thanks for stopping by. :)

25 Card

25 Card
I got to "play" yesterday afternoon and created this card for three different challenge sites. First, Charisma Cardz has a "With Love Christmas" challenge. Second, All Sorts has a "Twas The Night Before Christmas" challenge (of which I had the "perfect" stamp). :) And last but not least, Crazy 4 Challenges has a challenge to create a square card. I used the Sizzix eClips for the numbers and tree diecuts. The patterned paper is by Basic Grey. The "twas the night..." rubber stamp is by Hampton Art. The jewels are by Prima Marketing and the large sentiment brad is by Queen & Company. I have to confess I loved the extra hour of sleep this morning. :) I look forward to the time changing just for that reason. Have a fun day.....thanks for stopping by.

Boy/Men Cards

I'm sharing two cards that fit two different challenge sites today. Papertake Weekly has a "Penny For The Guy" challenge going on while Paper Sundaes has a "For The Boys" challenge.
My Hero Card
October Afternoon's Seaside Collection had some lovely vintage patterned paper that was the "inspiration" for this card. That buff looking man in a swimsuit just begged to be a "hero." :) The diecut words and borders were done with the Sizzix eClips while the rub-ons are by Royal & Langnickel. Fast and fun card. :)
Giraffe Boy Birthday Card
I had some new paper accessories paper by My Mind's Eye (Alphabet Soup Collection) that screamed to be a little boy's birthday card. :) The rubber stamps are by Hampton Art (border and sentiment). I used my Sizzix eClips to cut out the word "boy." The flower is by Prima Marketing and the brad by My Mind's Eye. I finished it off with some ribbon by We R Memory Keepers. I was happy with the way this card turned out. :)
There's nothing better than waking up to a bright beautiful Saturday. Especially if you have a day of staying home and crafting planned! Wink. :) Hope you have a fun Saturday planned as well. Thanks for stopping by. :)

Bountiful Thanks Card

Bountiful Thanks Card
There is a "Give Thanks" challenge going on at Tuesday Throwdown this week (number24). My card has a sentiment stamp by Hampton Art. The image is by Crafty Secret and all the papers are by Diecuts With A View. The ribbon is by We R Memory Keepers and the brads are by Recollections (found at Michael's). Easy peasy card. :) Since it is dark and rainy outside this morning, I'm having an awfully hard time getting out of bed and off the laptop. :) It would be sooo easy to go back to sleep but then all that laundry and other "fun" stuff wouldn't get done. Sigh. :) Oh well.....up and adam. :) Thanks for stopping by.

Pink Challenge

Baby Welcome Card
Stamp Something has a "Pink Challenge" going on this week. I have two cards to share for this one. The first one is a baby "welcome" card. The alphabet stamps are by Hampton Art. The fringed trim is by My Mind's Eye. All of the borders were done with punches by EK Success while the butterfly punch is a Martha Stewart. The label maker and clear tape used are by Dymo. This card is a easy one. :)
New Job Congrats Card
My second card is a new job congratulations card. It features stamps by Hampton Art and patterned paper by Cosmo Cricket. The gathered ribbon is by American Crafts. Again I pulled out my Dymo label maker but the tape is some "old" by Around The Block. :) The pearls are by KaiserCraft. Another fast and easy card. I have gotten up to a dark and rainy day. Perfect weather for staying in and playing "catch-up" on a lot of chores and hopefully time to "play" too. Have a great day and stop by again soon. :)

November Stamps Of Life Release

Flowers For You Card
It's new stamp time at The {Stamps} Of Life. This month's release is called "flowers2share." I have to confess that I had a lot of fun with this set. :) As I have said before, the quality of these clear stamps make the best impressions. You get crisp, clear images everytime. If you haven't checked out the monthly stamps or special releases, then what are you waiting for? :) It's looking like rain in my neck of the woods. I am the "birthday girl" today so planning on doing what I love best......making cards. It would have been nice to go to Paris instead but you know how that goes. (My oldest daughter is actually in Paris this week......so I guess that's the second best thing if you can't go yourself. Wink.) :) Have a great Tuesday and come back soon. I'm off to see if I can find my birthday cake. :)

Three Challenge Cards

I have three challenge site cards to share today. (Maybe it will make up for my being absent the past few weeks.) :) My first card is for the Cupcake Craft Challenge of "Boys and Their Toys." I had a new paper package by October Afternoon which had the perfect sticker for this challenge. I did the black part of the sentiment with the computer but the "happy birthday" was done with stamps by The {Stamps} Of Life. The ribbons and red glitter brads are by Little Yellow Bicycle.
Smooth Sailing Card
City Crafter Challenge Blog has a fun one going on this week. I love vintage plus Rome so couldn't resist. This one has a stamp by Hampton Art. The embossing folder is by Sizzix. The pretty borders at the top and bottom are a decorative tape by Prima Marketing. I did the sentiment with a label tape (Dymo Caption Maker). The black photo corners are by Canson.
Ciao Baby Card
My third and final card for today is for Tuesday Taggers. Their challenge this week was to do project with the theme "Nursery Rhymes." I used the "Baby Foo Foo" nursery rhyme by Mother Goose as my inspiration. The perfect patterned paper for this is by Prima Marketing.
The lace is by Graphic 45. The flowers are also by Prima Marketing while the brads are by My Mind's Eye. The blue cardstock is by Bazzill.
Baby Foo Foo Card
Thanks for stopping by. Visit again soon. I'm off to take warm Snickerdoodles out of the oven. Mmmmmm. :)

Real Friends Birthday Card

Real Friends Birthday Card
How about a fun birthday card? :) This one will fit the bill for four challenges going on at:
Papertake Weekly (based on the sketch)
Flutterby Wednesday (sparkly and shimmery/I used glitter and shimmery cardstocks)
City Crafter Challenge (Flowers and Frills)
Creative Card Crew (Bloomin' Marvelous/to use flowers)
The vintage image is by Lunagirl. The rubber stamp sentiment is by Hampton Art. All of the glitter and shimmery cardstock is by Diecuts With A View. The flowers are by Prima Marketing, the brads by Basic Grey and the lace is by The Paper Studio. The embossing folder and butterfly diecut are by Sizzix (eClips on the diecut). I'm definitely at the age that I agree with this sentiment. Wink! :) Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Bird Card

PDCC48
Would you believe I had enough scraps to do yet another card for The Play Date Cafe Challenge? Had to make another card using those fab colors! :) This card uses stamps by Hampton Art and a diecut by Sizzix. The touch of silver foil board is by Grafix and cardstock is by Bazzill.
Birthday Bird Card
Thanks for stopping by. I'll keep this post short. I need to get going and off the computer. Those chores are not going to do themselves. Wink! :)

Diva Hello Card

PDCC48
What do you do when you have left over cardstock in three fabulous colors? Why you make another card of course.Diva Hello Card I was so pleased with my first card for The Play Date Challenge that I wanted to do another one. I know I've used dark blue and green but never with the added grey. It is a striking color mix. This card uses stamps by Hampton Art and a Vivid Inky Blue ink pad. The cardstock is by Bazzill and the border punch is by Martha Stewart (found this one at TJ Maxx a few weeks ago). The small flowers are by Prima Marketing and the brads are by Basic Grey.

Got an email from my daughter newly arrived in England. She is getting settled in her dorm room and making new friends. She was excited because she had had dinner in a "real" English pub. :) Thanks for stopping by. Better get a move on, I have errands galore to do.

Beautiful Friend Card

PDCC48
I was able to do a card early this morning for The Play Date Cafe challenge based on the photo above. I was intrigued by the colors. I used a dark blue, a kiwi green and a silver foil board for my colors. The rubber stamp is by Hampton Art which I stamped with a Vivid Inky Blue pad by Clearsnap. The embossing folder is by Sizzix.
Beautiful Friend
I'm breathing a little easier today as my oldest daughter made it safely to England. She has gotten to her dorm and called us tonight. :) My youngest daughter and I went to a movie this afternoon. We saw the new comedy "You Again" and laughed a lot! :) Fun movie.....Betty White is a hoot in it. :)

Hello Autumn Card

Hello Autumn Card
Today's card fits the bill for three challenges. The Stamp Something and Paper Sundaes challenge is to use fall colors plus the design is based on the sketch at Friday Sketcher's. I used an image by Crafty Secrets and rubber stamps by Hampton Art. The large leaf brads are by Around The Block. The burlap trim is some I found at Reasonable Ribbon. The cardstock is by We R Memory Keepers.
Better get going for the day. I'm heading outside to plant pansies and chrysanthemums in pots to "pretty" up the patio. My oldest daughter left about an hour ago headed for the airport. She is flying to Chester, England to begin a semester of college there. If I stay busy planting flowers then I won't be worrying about her. Who am I kidding? I'm going to be planting and worrying. I'm a mom, I worry. Wink. :)

Coffee and Cream Colored Butterfly Card

Brown/Cream Butterfly Thanks Card
PaperPlay has a "coffee and cream" challenge this week. You are to use only shades of brown. There is also an "anything goes" challenge at Charisma Cardz too that this card will fit. :) The rubber stamp is by Hampton Art. The patterned cardstock is by Diecuts With A View. The fabric lace is by 7 Gypsies and the rose ribbon is by Webster's Pages. I did this card early before the carpenters arrived. Who can create with all of their hammering going on??? :)
I took my oldest daughter out to a movie and dinner tonight. She is leaving for England Saturday so it was a last "hurrah" for us. We went to see "The Town" which we both enjoyed.
Better get to bed....it has been a long day. Thanks for stopping by. :)

Thinking Of You Card

Grid Challenge Butterfly Card
Sharing a card that I did for the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge grid challenge going on this week. I used a Sizzix embossing folder for my "grid" work. I also used the sketch over at 2Sketches4U (for sketch 62). The rubber stamps are by Hampton Art. The brad is by The Paper Studio and the lace is by Prima Marketing. The green cardstock is by Worldwin Papers.

I have been missing from action for several days at my blog. I have carpenters doing work outside at present and before long will be inside too. While I am happy to have the work done, it is stressful trying to live and operate "normally" with them here. :) I also have my oldest daughter getting ready to leave for college this weekend. She will be leaving for England where she will attend one semester. So it is crazy, hectic, and sad (for the mom in me) at my house for the next week or two or three. :) Thanks for stopping by. I'll try to do better but with the remodeling going on....make no promises. (Wink.)

Be Worth Knowing Card

Oriental Worth Knowing Card
I have a busy weekend coming up because it is a "birthday" weekend. My youngest daughter will be celebrating her special day so I'm posting this before it gets too crazy here (and I forget to). :) The new Color Create Challenge is to use red, gold and white (or cream) with the optional extra of Christmas or Oriental thrown in. I love Oriental themes but for some reason rarely use them in my card making. This was a good excuse to dig out a new geisha stamp by Stamp Francisco. Mention red to me anytime and I am "in." The card has some Oriental lanterns embossed on red foil cardstock by American Crafts. The embossing folder is by Cuttlebug. The saying by Confucius is a rub-on by Royal and Langnickel. The pretty jeweled sticker is by Prima Marketing. This card is really pretty "in person." The embossed red foil is so rich looking. All right, two posts in one day.....that's amazing for ME. :) Thanks for stopping by and have a good night.

Fall Is In The Air Card

Fall Is In The Air Card
The challenge going on at Paper Play now is called "Autumn Is A Comin.' I had a new Sizzix embossing folder delivered yesterday that was perfect for this one. Charisma Cardz also has a challenge of "something new or not done before." I used chalk pencils for the first time coloring the raised embossed design on this card. I used some small dotted banner stamps by My Mind's Eye and then stamped letters to spell "fall" on them. (The alphabet stamps are by Hampton Art.) The orange alphabet stickers are by My Little Shoebox. Throw in some orange gingham paper and dotted ribbon and you have a easy/peasy card. :) Hope you have had a great day. I put a roast in the crockpot this morning to have some extra crafting time. We're having them open faced on some whole wheat hoagie buns with French Onion gravy. :) I also baked some brownies for a decadent ice-cream, caramel, nuts and brownie dessert. That should make my bunch happy! :) Thanks for stopping by.

Smile Card

Smile Mona Card
Raise The Bar has a challenge going on called "URL"ooking Good. You are to use your blog as a source of inspiration for a card (header, colors, title, etc.). So are you surprised that I created a Mona Lisa "smile" card? :) I guess you won't be surprised too much either that I collect Mona Lisa rubber stamps. I have a binder full of Mona images and I'm sorry to say that I don't remember who made this image. All the pretty ink colors are Tim Holtz Distress inks though (that much I do know.) :) The alphabet stamps to spell "smile" are by Hampton Art. Thanks for stopping by....hope you liked my Mona card. :)

Time Flies Diva Card

Photobucket
Hope you are having a great Labor Day. :) Sharing a card I whipped up yesterday afternoon. This one fall into several challenge site categories. First, I used the sketch over at Just Us Girls (Challenge 49) while following the recipe at Sentimental Sunday (Challenge 19...Use 1 solid paper, 2 patterned papers, 3 embellishments plus a sentiment). Then Paper Sundaes has a mixed mediums (it is number 34) challenge of using Copics with some other kind of coloring medium (I used chalk pencils). Last but not least is the Stampacular Sunday challenge to distress it (no. 75). The rubber stamps are by Hampton Art (the stamped images were colored with Copic Ciao markers and then touched up with Createcolor Chalk pencils). I thought it would be fun to use aleopard and zebra patterned papers (by BoBunny and Making Memories). The flowers and the printed twill are by Graphic 45.

Better run. We are having a fun stay at home Labor day. All of us have spent the morning doing what we want. This afternoon we are playing games, watching movies, etc. together. Goodbye summer 2010....you were fun but oh so hot. :) Going to hate saying goodbye to all the hummingbirds too. What grand free entertainment they have been. Their feeders the last few days have been busy, busy, busy! (Having to fill them almost everyday!...I think I must be feeding some who have already started migrating South.) Course September means that I will also be saying goodbye to my oldest daughter in a couple of weeks. She is going to be attending college in England this fall so that falls under the "happy AND sad" (not to mention the "broke" category). Sure all you moms know what I mean. I'm happy for her but sad for me (I'll miss her). :) Anyways, thanks for stopping by and Happy Labor Day!

September Stamps Of Life Release

How about a fun new Halloween stamp set? Then look no further because today is the release of "spooky2scare" by The {Stamps} Of Life. Here are five cards I made with this set. (I love making Halloween cards!)
Window Spiders Card
Eat At Your Own Risk Card
Best Witches Card
Halloween Ghosts Card
Border Ghosts Card
That's it from me today. I better get a move on since the washing machine and dryer don't start by themselves. The laundry "troll" has been here again and I am behind. :) Still waiting on the "new" models that load and unload themselves. Wink. :)

Photo-Synthesis Challenge #3

Photo-Synthesis Challenge 3 Photo
Photo-Synthesis Challenge #3
Sharing a card I did for the third challenge at Photo-Synthesis. Two photos are posted for inspiration for your projects. I chose the second photo posted there. This card uses rubber stamps by Hampton Art. The patterned paper is by Diecuts With A View. The lattice embossing folder and diecuts are by Sizzix. Four tiny black brads by Recollections finish it off.
This card also fits the "lattice" challenge going on at Crazy 4 Challenges too.
I'm pleased to report that the repairman came and I am now a "cool" crafter again. :) Picture me dancing happily (at least until I get the repair bill or for that matter the power bill). Wink! :)

Sunshine Card

Embossed Suns Card
You know you are wanting to make a card pretty bad when your air conditioning is not working in your craft room! My craft room is upstairs and evidently our central unit for the upstairs is on the "blink" today because it is hot! I've called the repairman and hopefully it will get fixed soon. I don't like crafting or trying to sleep when it is this hot. :) I wanted to make a card for three different challenge sites but my brain kept telling me to go downstairs where it was cool. :) It also kept telling me to take some stamps, etc. downstairs but then the "lazy voice" said you can take the heat. :) So I took the heat and this is what I came up with. The challenge at City Crafter is called "Let Your Light Shine" this week (need to have some form of light such as a sun, etc.). Well, how perfect to have three embossed suns on a card when I am burning up in my craft room! :) The sun is an embossing folder by Sizzix. Then Papertake Weekly has a challenge of using just one of something. I used one long strip of ribbon by American Crafts.
Tuesday Throwdown has a ribbon with a twist challenge too. You are to use ribbon in a creative way. I folded and stapled my ribbon....not sure how creative that is but you have to remember how "hot" my brain was when making this card (Wink.) :) The sentiment stamps on this one are by The {Stamps} Of Life. I also used a border punch by EK Success. So there you have a "hot" card made by a "hot" crafter in a "hot" studio. :) Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully I will be a lot cooler tomorrow since the repairman is coming this afternoon.

Vintage Happy Holidays Card

Vintage Happy Holidays Card
I wanted to do another card for the Paper Sundaes challenge of "Christmas In August." I used the sketch at 2 Sketches 4 You for inspiration. The Pink Elephant's new challenge is to do a card that is mostly white which I think this card will fit also. The patterned paper is by Graphic 45, the embossing folder is by Sizzix and the stamps are by Hampton Art. I heat embossed a snowflake image on the patterned paper plus heat embossed the sentiment with white powder. Three pieces of red ribbon by Offray and a red brad from Michael's finish out the card. Quick post tonight since it's been a long day. Oldest daughter and I are going to watch a movie from Netflix and "chill out" the rest of the night. Thanks for stopping by and visit again soon.

Christmas In August Challenge/Santa Card

Santa Happy Christmas Card
Paper Sundaes has a "Christmas in August" challenge going on this week. Every year I say I am going to get a head start on making Christmas cards but then never do. So this challenge gave me a gentle nudge to do so. One down, ninety-nine more to go. Wink. I used new Graphic 45 papers that are in an 8x8 pad. Love to work with this size patterned paper....just perfect for cardmakers. It has an embossing folder by Sizzix that I punched out using a large circle punch by Marvy/Uchida. All the rubber stamps used are by Hampton Art. The teal colored ink is from Clearsnap's Vivid line. The pretty flower is by Prima Marketing. I'm pretty happy with this card, especially the non-traditional Christmas colors. Hope your weekend has been a good one. I used my crockpot today for a new recipe. My youngest daughter brought home a cookbook that her Beta Club at school has published and is selling. I told her I would be happy to purchase it after leafing through it. It is filled with some very tasty looking recipes. I tried a Beef Tips and Rice today that is done in the crockpot. It got good reviews from all of us tonight. My family liked the taste and I liked how simple it was. :) Tomorrow I'm trying another recipe for dressing done in the crockpot. Crafters and crockpots are best friends. Wink. :) Thanks for stopping by and visit again soon....I'll be tempting you with more cards and recipes. :)

Back To School Card

Welcome Back Card
I couldn't resist doing another card for the "Back To School" challenge at Stamp Something this week. This one uses some fun owl stamps by Hampton Art. The alphabet rub-on is by Sizzix and the alphabet stickers are by My Little Shoebox. Found the measuring tape paper when I cleaned out my craft room. It's by Rusty Pickle. I finished it with some red acrylic letters by The Paper Studio and some ric rac from Wright's. Hope your weekend is going well. It's been somewhat cloudy today which means the hummingbirds have put on grand shows. We were watching them this afternoon and they were everywhere! There were five and six trying to feed from one of our feeders while several others flew about. You can't beat that for free entertainment. :)

Thanks Teach Card

Thanks Teach Card
My youngest daughter needed a thank you card for one of her teachers. (The teacher surprised her with a sequel to a favorite book just released. How sweet was that?!!! ) The challenge at Stamp Something this week was "Back To School" so I thought I would play along plus get my daughter's much needed thank you card made. There is also a recipe challenge going on at Pile It Up which I followed. (You had to use: 3 patterned papers, 2 stamped images, 7 buttons, ribbon and something clear.) I definitely had to put my "thinking cap" on for that one. :) The 3 patterned papers are by Diecuts With A View. There are two different stamp images. The first is a vintage postmark stamped on the picture which is by Oxford Impressions. The little star circle on the arrow is by The {Stamps} Of Life. I used seven very small buttons by Dress It Up. The something clear is an acrylic tag by Tim Holtz and the ribbon is by The Paper Studio. I found the funny quote and printed it out using my computer. When I finished this card, I showed it to my daughter who loved it. She can't wait to give it to her teacher. :) Don't you love making a card for someone that appreciates it? :) I have been enjoying creating in my new clean, organized and purged craft room. I ordered another table for it this week. This table is long and narrow and will make my work area into a "u" shape. My current "L" shape needed a little more "spread out" space. I also ordered a floor mat for my rolling chair (room is carpeted). It is a zebra pattern floor/chair mat and was delivered yesterday. I'll have to take some pictures and post them once the table comes in and I get it placed. All that work I did for eleven days is paying off but on about day seven I was seriously wondering if I would ever get through!!!! :) And here's to famous last words....."it's never going to get that messy (piled up) again." I don't think I could survive another major craft room overhaul anyway. (Wink.) :)

"Thank You" Butterfly Card

CPS Butterfly Card
How about a card for two challenges? (As if you haven't heard that before, right?) :) This card will fit CPS 181 sketch plus a challenge site called "Let's Ink It Up." Their challenge was a anything goes but with a twist. You had to have some yellow on your creation. I used a new Hampton Art clear stamp set with lots of pretty butterflies. This card was a good excuse to get out my new Copic markers. I've been wanting to play with them but cleaning and reorganizing the craft room took a lot longer than I planned. (I thought I could do it in five days and it took nearly eleven days. It's so clean and organzied now, I'm almost afraid to mess it up. Not! Wink!) :) The chipboard buttons are by Jenni Bowlin. The frosted looking jewels are by Martha Stewart. Are you staying cool? I can't remember it being so hot! You go outside and feel like you are going to melt. I have a bird bath outside my kitchen window that I try to put fresh cold water in several times a day. This means filling up a bucket outside and goodness, it is hot! The birds have been rewarding me though with great bathing "shows." They are such fun to watch and almost make doing the dishes fun! :) I think they are depending on the cold water too so I can't stop no matter how hot it is. Thanks for stopping by and thank heavens for air conditioning. :)

2 Challenges -- TSOL16 and Photo-Synthesis 2

Seeing Red TSOL16 Challenge
I have two challenges to share with you today. First there is The {Stamps} Of Life challenge. The design team girls at The {Stamps} Of Life have a challenge every two weeks. You are invited to participate too! Upload your creation to The {Stamps} Of Life gallery -> HERE <-with the keyword TSOL16. Please link to one of our blogs so we can see your work. :) The challenge this time is called "Seeing Red." Make a project that has a lot of red. :) I used the clear stamp set called "robots2build." The dotted Swiss cardstock is by Bazzill. The photo corner punch is by EK Success and the arrow punch is by Stampin'Up! There is also one small black brad by The Paper Studio. Fast and easy which is the only kind at my house at present. Still working on redoing my craft room.....I thought I could do it in a week. Two weeks is more of the reality. :) Be sure to check out the other design team gal's that participated with the Seeing Red Challenge:
Jeanne Streiff
Stephanie Barnard
Emily Niehaus
Tami Mayberry
Joana Studer

Photo Synthesis Challenge 2 Photo
Photo Synthesis Challenge 2 Card
My second card is for the Photo Synthesis second challenge. We were to use the above photo of zinnias (or as I grew up calling them "Old Maids") for inspiration. Tiffany Doodles Images is the Photo Synthesis sponser this time too. The design team was given some beautiful digital stamp images to work with. I am always the last person to try anything. :) This was my first time using digital stamps but it sure won't be my last. What fun! I love that you can create your image to the size you want. I used a zinnia image and made it three different sizes (small, medium and large). This seems to be a card for "firsts" as it was my first time to use Copic markers too. I am still learning but I can tell I'm going to become addicted to them. Another addiction is just what I need (as if the paper, punch, stamp one wasn't enough). Wink! I'm hoping I'll be able to take a Copics class soon if one comes close enough to my area. I was excited to see one being taught in New Orleans but it got cancelled. :( Ooops, I digressed on you there. Anyway this card was a lot of fun. The embossing folder is by Sizzix. I also used some Flower Soft and a small jeweled dragonfly by Prima Marketing. I better get up and get busy. My craft room is not going to finish itself. Thanks for stopping by and stay cool (have to have an air conditioner attached to you here for that). :)
