Purrrfect Day Card

This is my fifth and final card for the 2022 Cat Lovers Hop.  I spent much needed creative rest time this afternoon in my craft room after spending the last five days working in our yard.  We've had our first frost so I been getting rid of dead flowers all around the house.  I've had to pull and cut, etc. and haul it in my garden cart to the side of the road (where our town picks it up).  It has been quite a job but I will be glad I did it next spring when it will be time to plant flowers again.  What could be more fun than kitties and a rainbow.  I'll be sending this one to brighten a friend's day.  I want to thank Janis at Her Peaceful Garden for another fun filled event.  I know it is a lot of work and I appreciate all she does.  So I'll end this post with a big THANK YOU.

Meowy Christmas Card

The 2022 Cat Lovers Hop is still going strong and if you have not checked it out, then you are missing out on lots of feline fun.  After working in our yard this morning, I headed up to my craft room to play for a couple of hours.  I wanted to make a couple more cat themed cards before the hop ends tomorrow.  For this card, I used one of my new stamps sets by Simon Says Stamp (Christmas Kitties).  The word die cut is an old one by Winnie & Walter (who are sadly no longer in business).  I'm also linking this card up at Jingle Belles where they want to see animals on their current challenge.  Thanks for dropping by and remember to stay crafty!  Hope you have a wonderful weekend planned!

Peace, Love and Plants Card

I have worked in the yard the last two days.  We had our first frost a few days ago and I have been pulling up dead flowers in pots and getting them ready for next spring's plantings.  I was working this morning when it started raining.  To tell the truth it made me happy as I knew I could head to my craft room and make a card for the Cat Lovers Hop.  I recently got this cute cat planter stamp set by Creative Expressions.  I would be completely down with a cat flower pot. (Wink.)  Thanks for stopping by and remember to love on your cats today!  Make sure you go check out all the wonderful inspiration plus fun at Her Peaceful Garden.

You're One Of A Kind Card

It's time for a favorite annual blog hop put on by Janis at Her Peaceful Garden.  This is her eighth year for the Cat Lovers Hop.  Make sure you go check out all the fun and crafty cat themed inspiration.  There are games and lots of fabulous prizes too.  My family definitely loves cats and we have several furry friends inside and outside our home.   I look forward to creating cat themed cards and seeing everyone else's creations as well at the hop.  For this first card, I used the Cat Meowseum stamp set by Hero Arts.
Thanks for stopping by and remember to pet your  purrrfect pets today!

Holiday Magic Card

The new Jingle Belles challenge is "Not A Creature Was Stirring."  The lovely Belles want to see cards with animals this go around.  For my "creature," I chose reindeer pulling Santa's sleigh in a slimline format.  This was a fun card to make and can't wait to mail it during the holiday season.  Thanks for dropping by and remember to stay crafty.  It is a beautiful fall day here and even though I'm making Christmas cards, I have plans to carve pumpkins with my daughters and friends this afternoon!  I guess that makes me multi-seasonal. (BIG wink.)

Pink Christmas Card

"I'm Dreaming Of A Pink Christmas" is the newest Jingle Belles challenge.  The Belles are wanting to see pink on our Christmas cards.  They always devote the first challenge in October to pink to help with Breast Cancer awareness.  They are also going to donate $2 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for each card linked.  How awesome is that?  So get busy and create a pink Christmas card!  For my card, I used a pink patterned cardstock by DCWV.  I used my "antique" EK Success alphabet punches to spell "Christmas" and a sentiment stamp by Lawn Fawn.  I also used my "antique" Fiskars paper crimper and some mini staples by Tim Holt.  Fun, fast and easy plus pink....top that!  (Wink!)  Thanks for dropping by and remember to stay crafty.  I'm off to read my book before the sun goes down (I'm only reading it during daylight hours since it is scary).
