Joy Christmas Card

After all the Thanksgiving hustle and bustle, it was nice to wake up to a Saturday morning with cloudy skies and rain.  I knew where I was going to head....yep, my craft room.  I was in need of a slow morning with "craft therapy."  I have joined the Jingle Belles this year with each of their challenges.  This card is inspired by their last challenge for the year.  I have to admit it is a very nice feeling having a box of Christmas cards made and ready to mail.  I'm going to do it from now on....no more mad scrambling at the last minute for me!  (Wink.)  I'm also linking this card at 52 Christmas Card Challenge which is stenciling.  Thanks for stopping by.   Hope your weekend has some "craft therapy" in it!

Latte Wreath Card

Today is the last day of the fall/winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  I've had fun all week making hot beverage cards plus looking at all the beautiful cards linked up.  So much inspiration!  I'm getting one last card in before it closes.  I'll also be joining the Cut It Up Challenge and Double D Challenges with this card.
Thanks for visiting today.  Hope you have a super weekend planned!  I'll be getting dishes prepared in advance for our Thanksgiving feast!  :)

Eat, Drink and Be Merry Card

Having fun creating with a coffee theme, snowmen and washi tape on this card.  The stamped sentiment is by Scrapbook.com from a set with other cute sentiments.  I used the design on the washi tape to create my snowmen (a circle punch, face stamp and top hat die by Sizzix plus two mugs cut with Silhouette Cameo).  Easy peasy!  I'm linking up at Christmas Craft Creations Challenge plus the Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with this one.  Thanks for stopping by and go ahead and eat, drink and be merry NOW...don't wait for Christmas!  (Wink!)

Cup of Cheer Gnome Card

I couldn't resist joining in on the fun at the new Inspired By..."Gnomes" challenge.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the Gnome by Lori Whitlock design (#308878 at the Silhouette Design Store)   Paired with a couple of rubber stamped sentiments plus a snowflake and cup image and BAM...a fast and fun gnome card!
The Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is going strong too so I'll be linking cute gnome up there as well.
Thanks for dropping by and hope you are having a crafty Monday!

Rainy Day Crafting

I got up this Saturday and it was raining!  I don't know about you but I love rainy days in my craft room.  It's extra special since it has not been raining very much in my area lately!  I was able to do three cards for three fun challenges!  The card above was done for the Inspired By Challenge.  I remembered a stamp set I had by Impression Obsession which features pine cones.  I also used the sketch featured at Inspired By Challenge too.

Cut It Up Challenge has a Thanks or Thanksgiving theme this time.  I used stamps and dies by Reverse Confetti who are sadly no longer in business.  I always thought Reverse Confetti had the cutest stamps and most innovative dies.  The patterned paper is Honey Bee Stamps.  I'll be sending this one to a friend who I need to thank for very happy mail!

My third card is for the funny challenge at Jingle Belles.  You know how I love to do funny cards so couldn't wait to give this challenge a try.  The stamps are by Taylored Expressions.  The tag die and word die are older ones in my stash from Essentials by Ellen.  I stenciled a quick snowflake background with Distress Oxide ink.  Thanks for dropping by.  I'm off to figure out something quick, easy but good for our supper.  Wish me luck....wink!
