Cactus "Grow" Card

This summer is turning out to be a very HOT one in my neck of the woods.  You would think this means more time spent in my craft room but sadly this is not the case.  I did manage to enjoy some card making time after lunch today though (all the while basking in glorious air conditioning).  ;)  Cactus like lots of sun and warm weather so the potted cacti on my card are flourishing!  ;)  They want to join in on the fun at the following challenges:

"Stuck With Me" Birthday Card

You know it is bad when you feel like you are sneaking in your craft room to create a card.  ;)  I'm still working on getting my house back in order after the stripping wallpaper and paint job project upstairs.  I sometimes wonder if I will ever get everything clean and back in place.  I wanted to join in on the fun at AAA Cards Clean and Simple Challenges because they are celebrating their fourth birthday.  I had a new image stamp by Hampton Art which I was wanting to get "inky" and decided to use it for a birthday card.   Thanks for stopping by and guess I better get back to work cleaning and putting things where they go.

I'm linking this card up to the following challenges:

Be Happy Coffee Card

I have a final card to share for the Spring + Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  I love the stamped sentiment on this one by Riley & Company.  Only my sentiment should read "Get Up, Get Coffee and Start Cleaning Up Sheetrock Dust.  (Wink.)  Yep, still at it....afraid I will be doing this for weeks.  You think I am exaggerating?  Nope.  I keep telling myself the end result will be worth it....I do like the wallpaper gone and walls painted but not the huge mess it created getting that way.  Feel welcome to grab a vacuum and visit anytime.  ;)  There are some beautiful coffee themed cards at the blog hop.  I'm enjoying looking at them at the end of the day with my feet up (after cleaning, cleaning, cleaning).  Go check them out!  Already looking forward to the next one and you can be sure I won't be painting.  ;)

CARD RECIPE:
Stamp -- Riley & Company (Sentiment)
Ink Pad -- Clearsnap (Wicked Black)
Cardstock -- Recollections
Vintage Image -- Tim Holtz Photobooth
Die Cut Word -- Silhouette Design Store
