Do you have a favorite reason to make a card? I have several but one is sending an anniversary card. It's nice to help friends celebrate their special day. I had fun putting this card together for several challenges. I'm joining these challenges:
I tell you I am "in love" with anything flamingo right now. I got to play with some new Lawn Fawn stamps today and of course they are flamingo images. (Wink.) I made this card work for the following challenges:
It's never fun being sick but sometimes a funny get well card makes you feel a little better. I'm sharing a fun get well card which plays at two challenges. CASology has a cue card challenge and the word is "medicine." Also the Art Impressions Blog Challenge is "White Space Is Nice Space" which translates to clean and simple. Thanks for stopping by.
I saw the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches (#290) and wanted to give it a shot. It is a good one for a clean and simple theme which Addicted to Stamps and More has going on too. It will also fit the Anything Goes at Die Cuttin' Divas because I do have one diecut on the card (circle). Now that I have my washi tape collection organized in drawers (see my system here), I am USING it.
CARD RECIPE:
Stamps -- Technique Tuesday
Ink Pad -- Clearsnap (Nautical)
Glitter Finish and Clear Glaze -- Mod Podge and Mod Podge Diimensional Magic by Plaid Enterprises
I'm sharing a "just for fun" card today. There's one thing about playing the card challenge blogs...and that is FUN!!!! When I saw City Crafter Challenge's theme was "out of this world" I immediately thought of an alien stamp I purchased many many years ago. That poor alien stamp has not been played with in years...how sad. (Wink.) I was looking for just the right sentiment when I found one by Hampton Art which screamed "put me with the alien." (BIG wink.) Hope my alien card brings a smile to your face...I certainly had fun putting it together. This card is being played in the following card challenges:
I recently got a pretty zebra stamp which I had not used before today. I heat embossed it with black powder which really makes the image "pop." I used some zebra print washi tape too in the upper left corner. A few weeks ago I found the coolest washi tape storage units at Michael's. They have four drawers and hold A LOT of washi tape. I got one and filled it up and then had to go get another one for future washi tape purchases. It makes finding what you have so much easier. I didn't even remember this washi tape until I got it stored in my new storage system.
