Cold Days Cocoa Card

I had free time to create a fun card this morning.  I think it was my first time to truly relax since the Christmas holidays.  :)  The snowman was done with my Silhouette Cameo 3 (Snowman With Mug Paper Piecing by Jennifer Wambach).  The perfect cup stamp and sentiment are by Newton's Nook (Cup of Cocoa).  I used  red and white striped leftover Christmas tissue for the pleated bottom strip.  The black cardstock background was embossed with a snowflake pattern embossing folder (Sizzix).  For a finishing touch, I added sequin spangles and white Nuvo drops.  It was nice to enjoy crafty time without being stressed about "things to do."  :)  Hope you get some stress free creative time too.  :)  My cocoa loving snowman is joining these awesome challenges:

Double D Challenges (It's On The Menu)

Jingle Belles (No Time Like The Presents -- I used red white tissue which was in a gift bag this Christmas.)

ABC Christmas Challenge (A is for Anything Christmas goes/B is for Berries)

Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge (Upcycle or Use Something Old)

Just Us Girls (Leftovers -- I used leftover pieces of cardstock.)

This is adorable and perfect for our challenge using that strip of striped tissue paper! Love that embossed background and the additional snowflakes. This is making me want a cup of hot cocoa with a candy cane in it, too. Thanks for playing along with us at JUGS!
