Steampunk Dude Card

 photo Steampunk Dude Congrats Card.jpg
It has been a long time since I tried doing a steampunk themed card. Try It On Tuesday's challenge this time around is "Steampunk" which got me motivated. I don't have a lot of actual steampunk stamps although I guess any vintage image will do (especially if you add some gears and wheels...wink). Feeling a little "steampunk rusty" so be kind when you look at this card. Maybe my gears will be turning better with the next try. I used a stamp by Deep Red I have had over a year and a half. This card is joining the following challenges:
Try It On Tuesday (Steampunk Theme)
Tuesday Morning Sketches (see sketch below)
Retro Rubber (Anything Goes)
Shopping Our Stash (Dude Theme)
Crafty Cardmakers (For A Special Man/Boy or Father's Day)

Steampunk - such a guilty pleasure! The background paper you've chosen is just perfect and I like how you've built upward from that with different layers. And you're right - can't have steampunk without a few gears and cogs. It's looking really good! Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber.
