SOL New Stitched Circle Dies

photo SOL Stitched Circle Die Part One.jpg
A new Stamps of Life release is the Stitched Circle Dies. I love them!! I've always had a "thing" for circles. They are a design element I reach for again and again. So when I received The Stamps of Life Stitched Circle Dies I was excited. My sample card was created using the Sizzix Circle Flip-It #4 (#660022). The stamp, cardstock, patterned paper and ribbon are by The Stamps of Life. If you love circles as much as me, then go check out the new stitched circle dies. They are a basic "must have!"

More French Fries Please

 photo SOL February 2016 002.jpg
It's time for new stamps at The Stamps of Life. Two of the releases go with my last post of the frenchfries2stamp. How fun is that! :) One is patterns4frenchfries and has the solid fries image plus the striped fries box and more sentiments. The next set is sayings4frenchfries and has seven more sentiments for the frenchfries2stamp. So many cute sentiments for this set. Hope you enjoy seeing my sample cards and don't forget to check out the gallery at The Stamps of Life for more fun samples from the design team.

French Fries

 photo frenchfries2stamp.jpg
Time for a new stamp set from The Stamps of Life. This one is called frenchfries2stamp and what fun! You can have fries and not worry about gaining weight! (Wink.) Below is my sample with this set. There are also matching "fry" dies for the set but on my card it is all stamped. The heart embellishments are also by Stamps of Life (as are the cardstock and ink in midnight). And I give you permission to make a french fry "run" after playing with these stamps. Be sure to check out the other designers samples in the Stamps of Life gallery. Hope you had a great first day of March!!!

New Grid Die

 photo SOL Grid Die.jpg
Check out the new Grid Die Set by The Stamps of Life. I had fun playing with this one. :) Below are two cards I made using this new die set. On the "Ladybug Hugs" I only used the cut outs from the die. This was such a fast way to do this card. The stamp set is ladybugs2love by The Stamps of Life along with the cardstock and pretty ribbon. The cool stitched rectangle die is by The Stamps of Life too. (Another new favorite of mine.)
 photo SOL Grid Die One.jpg
On the second card, I used the actual die shape (hope that makes sense). This die set along with some of your favorite stamps is a good addition to your collection for fast and easy cards. I am in "serious" love with this one. I used the stamp set camera2stamp along with Stamps of Life cardstock (artichoke is the green) and seam binding.

Hope your weekend is shaping up to be a nice one. I have both my girls home for the weekend so you know it is a good one at my house. ;) I'm cooking up a good supper for us (including Snickledoodle Cobbler....yummy!) Until next time, stamp and be creative!!!

New SOL Stamps

photo stamps4bubbly.jpg photo SOL Received October 2015.jpg
Sharing a couple of new stamp sets with you today from The Stamps of Life. The first one is called stamps4bubbly. (There is also a flip-it card and framelits by Sizzix which match the shape of this one.....just in case you are interested. Wink.) This is a cute set to make quick and easy cards. I used a polka dot washi tape by The Stamps of Life too which was perfect for the polka dot stamp enclosed with the set.

The second set is called happy4banners and it has a matching die which can be purchased separately. This is a fun stamp set which covers almost all the sentiments you need for making a card. For my sample, I used the "happy anniversary" banner and paired it with Stamps of Life patterned paper, a paper doily and baker's twine. How's that for fast and easy? Thanks for stopping by. Hope you are getting everything ready at your house for the holidays. I have most everything done at my house which is the earliest in years....and it feels GOOD! (Big wink!)

SOL Dragonfly Card

 photo SOL November 2015 Two.jpg
Have a quick post for a card I did with a Stamps of Life dragonfly die. I trimmed some watercolor paper and used watercolor crayons (by Staedtler) to create the background. Then I cut the dragonfly out of watercolor paper and black cardstock. Did the wings the same way as the background. Stamped a quick sentiment and glued some sequins on for a fast and easy card. The pretty gingham bow is by The Stamps of Life too. It doesn't get any easier than this folks. Stayed tuned for more fast and easy from yours truly.

The Stamps of Life Banner Cards

 photo SOL November 2015 Five.jpg
There is a new stamp set at The Stamps of Life called banners4planners. Check out my two card samples as well as the ones in the Stamps of Life gallery. On the birthday card above, I stamped the banner image on patterned paper and cut out the little owls from Stamps of Life paper. The sentiment is also from patterned paper from Stamps of Life plus the cardstock and twine. Fast and easy card which is the way I like them. :)
 photo SOL November 2015 Three.jpg
I used the polka dot banner stamp on this card which I stamped in red. Each was trimmed closely and adhered along the top along with twine from The Stamps of Life. The patterned paper, cardstock and twine are also by the Stamps of Life.
banners4planners could be used for a lot of different occasions and are such fun. You know you need them. :) Hope your week has been a good one. My hubby and I were able to sneak away one afternoon this week and see The Martian. I had read the book a few months ago and was eagerly awaiting the movie. Hubby had not read the book but needless to say we both enjoyed the movie. I always try to read the book before I see the movie. How about you? Thanks for stopping by and visit again soon.
