25 Days of Christmas -- Gold Foil Tag

Today is day 19 at 25 Days of Christmas Tags.  You can read how to participate how here.  We had overnight guests which had to leave early this morning.  So instead of going back to bed when they left, I headed to my craft room because I was so inspired by today's tags (guest Technique Tuesday).  This is the first of three I made from inspirations of day 19.  This tag is inspired by Daniela Dobson's.  I loved her red heat embossed sentiment on vellum plus her patterned paper with the gold foil accents.  I also loved her pretty diecut holly leaves.

CARD RECIPE:
Stamps -- Jillibean Soup (jb1127)
Ink Pad -- Clearsnap (Watermark)

Patterned Papers -- DCWV and October Afternoon
Vellum -- Stampin'Up!
Green Burlap -- DCWV
Diecuts -- Lifestyle Crafts and Sizzix
Jewels -- DCWV
Baker's Twine -- The Twinery
Glitter Glue -- Stickles (Lime Green)

25 Days Of Christmas Tags -- Clear Joy Tag

Today is day 16 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags (read all about it here).  Ellen Hutson LLC is the guest and sponsor for day 16.  I was inspired by Carly Tee Minner's tag which was a clear shaker tag with pretty turquoise holly leaves.  I decided to create a "faux" shaker clear tag.  I used clear Mod Podge Dimensional Magic to create a rectangle on the clear diecut tag.  Then I carefully sprinkled it with multi-colored seed beads.  I diecut my holly leaves from turquoise burlap and used some red Nuvo crystal drops to accent the leaves (and outline the seed beads)  I was happy to find some turquoise alphabet beads in my crafty stash to spell "joy."  This was just a FUN tag to make.  Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty day.

CARD RECIPE:
Stamps -- Jillibean Soup (jb1126)
Ink Pad -- Clearsnap (Wicked Black)
Turqoise Burlap -- DCWV
Diecuts -- Sizzix
Seed Beads -- Crafts, Etc.
Alphabet Beads -- Darice
Red Hemp Cord -- Hemptique
Clear Glaze -- Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
Red Crystal Drops -- Nuvo

25 Days of Christmas Tags -- Llama Burlap Tag

Today is day 13 at Tracy McNeeley's 25 Days of Christmas Tags. If you are a newbie like me, then read all about it here.  I have been looking forward to the day when Neat and Tangled would be the guest as I had their new Fa La La Llama stamp set.  I have been collecting a few sets with llamas and fell in love with this one because it tops the charts on the CUTE factor.  So I was definitely inspired by Brianna Loefflebein's llama tag today!  :)

For this tag, I backed a piece of red inked chipboard with natural colored burlap.  I went around the edges with glitter Mod Podge to give it sparkle (also dry brushing some on the edges of the mats, stamped scarf, blanket on llama, gift and top of clothes pin).  Remember my crafty shopping trip last week to get black and white gingham I was out of?  Are you surprised that even more ended up in my shopping cart?  I got the Christmas baker's twine and pretty red and white fibers too.  Used them on top of today's tag for the finishing touch. Who says I don't use what I buy?  (Except my hubby and he doesn't count....besides who listens to him anyway when crafty shopping!!!  Wink!)
