Love You Anniversary Card

Have you tried a chalk marker in white?  I used one for the first time on this card and loved it!  I have tried all kinds of white pens through the years.  Some have worked reasonably well while others have not.  So I was especially happy to find out about white chalk pens.  I used a fine tip on this card to create all the stitch marks.  I'll be linking this card to the following challenges:

Big Birthday Wish Card

How about a fast and easy birthday card?  I let the color challenge at Marker Pop be my guide in choosing the colors.  I did some "x" stitching at the top and bottom with a silver gel pen....something I had not done in a long time (also a few silver gel pen accents on the cupcake).  I felt it needed a little more silver since I had stapled the pom pom trim.  This cupcake will be playing at the following challenges:

Shaped Flower Friend Card

Sharing a fun shaped flower card today.  I used my Scan N Cut2 to cut the large yellow flower shape.  Take note of all the small yellow sequins on the card.  These were adhered one by one around the
red scalloped circle frame diecut.  It took longer to glue them down than color the stamped image.  I got half way through and wanted to stop but kept going.  (Wink.)  This flower is going to be blooming at the following challenges:

Coffee Coffee Coffee Card

Magical Unicorn Birthday Card

Wedding Cake Card

I don't think I have ever done a completely white card before.  I stamped the cake image and sentiment and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  I also learned with my limited photography skills it is hard to photograph a completely white card.  I hope you can see the heat embossing enough in my photographs to see how pretty it is.  If you can't, then you will have to take my word for it.  (Wink, wink.)  This wedding card is linking to the following challenges:

Hibiscus Flamingo Card

I was looking over challenges this morning because I was going to get to play in my "craft cave" (which is actually upstairs...can a cave be high?)  Wink.  Anyway I saw one which was really a challenge!  It was at Curtain Call and had a "Hibiscus" theme.  I used to grow them every summer outside in pots on the patio and around the pool.  BUT a card challenge...now that is where I had to put on my thinking cap.  I was trying to remember if I had any hibiscus stamps and seemed to remember a couple of older Hampton Art sets which had them.   Then I remembered a 3x4 little pad of papers by Authentique called Utopia.  The very first sheet in the pad was a beautiful hibiscus!  The rest is as they say history.  Hope you like my very challenging challenge card!  This hibiscus card will be blooming at:
