You & Me Coffee Card

I have a quick post for the Spring + Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  I did this card a couple of days ago and am just now posting.  I have been up to my eyeballs in awful white sheetrock dust.  The painter finished yesterday and I am trying to get things cleaned up.....not easy when there is white powder everywhere.  ;(  I never dreamed it would get in the closets too.  I opened the linen closet in the bathroom being redone and the contents were white!  My daughter and I are going over every square inch of the rooms which were affected.    Fun times at my house I tell ya!  (Wink.)  Remind me to never schedule another paint job during the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  It has seriously cut into my crafting time....boo!

I'm Sorry Coffee Card

It is amazing what you can make even though your house is a MESS.  ;)  The stripping wallpaper and paint job saga is still going on and the little voice in my head keeps asking "what were you thinking?"  ;)  The other voice keeps saying it will be nice once it is finished.....if I live that long.  ha-ha  Meanwhile I sneaked in my craft room and forgot about "paint messes" while creating a card for the Spring + Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.   Thanks for stopping by and send vibes the painter finishes this week.  I want my house back in order....especially my craft room!  (Wink.)

Prepare to be amazed!  Even though my house is a SUPER mess with the stripping wallpaper and paint job going on, I made a card for the Spring + Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!  My craft room has not escaped the mess either.  We are running out of room to pile boxes and furniture until the job is finished so the mess has found its way to my craft room.  Grrrrrrr.  ;)  Hoping I can hide in my craft room and make coffee cards tomorrow.  It is a nice dream anyway.  Thanks for stopping by and I will take volunteers to help clean my craft room and whole upstairs....my painter is not neat!   (Wink.)

Bad Words And Coffee Card

I managed to make a card for the Spring + Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop which was no easy feat.  We are having work done upstairs of stripping wallpaper in one bedroom and bathroom plus painting another two bedrooms.  It looks like a tornado went through the house.   Furniture is moved and piled plus there are boxes everywhere we packed up because of this job.  I am having fantasies of running away.  (Wink.)   I am hoping to make a few more cards but my painter may have other ideas.  ;(  As always, thanks for stopping by.  Happy Memorial Day!

Celebrating and Kindess Cards

I hope your Monday is off to a great start. Are you enjoying this beautiful weather?  I have been outside planting flowers and washing off porches.  It is my favorite time of year.  I love heading to the porch with a good book and looking at all the flowers.  (I even like watering and taking care of those flowers but asked me again in July.....and the answer might be not so much.  Then it will be HOT.)  ;) I have two cards to share today for fun challenges.  The first card is for the Inky Paws Challenge and uses the new stamp set by Newton's Nook called "Little Lilies."  There is also a shadow challenge at Just Us Girls so I shadowed my word die cut with black cardstock.  Stamping Sensations has a "Close To Nature" challenge and I think these lilies and butterflies fit the bill nicely.  Last but not least is the Cut It Up challenge of "Flowers."

My second card is for the Time Out Challenge of the word "Wild."  I have some wild (but cute) animals flying by on this card.  The Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is "Animal Magic" so I think animals flying in a hot air balloon are pretty magical.  :)
