I just realized I did a card for Sketch Saturday a few days ago and forgot to post or link it. How forgetful! My only excuse is trying to solve world problems. (Wink.) Don't I wish I could...I would get a vaccine out there to stop all this virus mess and we could go about our lives unafraid again. But I'm just a simple cardmaker so you'll have to settle for a funny card instead. The sentiment stamp is by Riley & Company, patterned papers by DCWV and diecuts are found at the Silhouette Design Store. I do think this card is funny considering our social distancing....Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty.....and laugh (it will keep people a SAFE distance from you hopefully). ;)

Coffee and World Card
Hello crafty friends! I hope you are well and doing your part social distancing. Aren’t we lucky to love rubber stamps, papers and crafty supplies? We can stay at home and be perfectly happy. (Big wink). I’m sharing a card with a “Women Empowerment” theme. I thought this new image by Hampton art would be pretty with a coffee cup shaped card. The card shape is from the Silhouette Design Store (here). The Hampton Art stamp set can be seen here.
Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty.....and stay home to stop the spread of the Corona virus. If we all do our part it won’t be long before we can hit those craft stores again. ;)

Pawsome Birthday Card
Hello my crafty friends! I hope you are well and staying in your craft room creating happily away (and have plenty of toilet paper....wink). Sharing a card I did with new Hampton Art stamps (SC0974 Frenchie) I colored the images with Prima Marketing Metallic Watercolors. They have the prettiest sheen to them (not sure it shows up in my poor photography but trust me). :)
Thanks for dropping by and remember to stay crafty.....and to wash your hands and keep them away from your face. Be safe people! :) These puppies want to join in on the fun at:

Brave and Beautiful Card
Today I'm sharing a card I did for the International Women's Day blog hop. I used a new stamp set by Hampton Art (Kindness Is Always In Fashion). I think this set is perfect for the International Women's Day hop. :) I colored the image with Copic markers and applied Stickles over the colors for added sparkle. I die cut a frame from rainbow patterned paper. Fun card! Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty.....I am woman, hear me roar! :)

May Your Days Be Merry Sloth Card
Have you seen the new Cricut Joy? It was released March 1st and I have to admit I was intrigued. So when HSN offered it as their special value of the day on March 3rd I couldn't resist. I have a Silhouette Cameo so I was not familiar with Cricut software, etc. but this little machine is easy to use. I put the Cricut app on my iPhone and did the design with it. This is a Cricut pattern called Rob & Bob - Santa Sloth Ornament Card. I left the ornaments off my card though (my card is an A2 size.)
The Jingle Belles current challenge is "Stuck On You." It's all about pulling out your stickers and using them on a Christmas card. The sentiment on my card is from a package of Me & My Big Ideas stickers I found at Michael's a long time ago. Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty.....and watch out for cute sloths wearing Santa hats.

Time to go green and get started making St. Patrick's Day cards for my friends. I ordered a new stamp set by Art Impressions to make all my St. Patrick cards for this year. It has two cute images and lots of fun sentiments for St. Patrick's Day. The set is called Sham-rock and can be seen here. Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty.....and get your Irish on. :)

Get Wellie Soon
Oh happy day.....new stamps are in the house. I placed an order from Newton’s Nook and two days later they arrived! Wow! I used the Freshly Made Sketches challenge as my jumpstart for the layout of this card. Inky Paws Challenge this time is polka dots. Plus I am up to day six at the 30 Day Coloring Challenge ! Fun card! Thanks for dropping by and remember to stay crafty.......I have red rain boots but my silly cat refuses to hang out in them. Wink.

Liquid Watercolors and Acrylic Paint Card
It is day four of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge and I am trying out liquid watercolors for the first time. I was recently at Hobby Lobby and saw some in the clearance section. I was thrilled because I had been wanting to try them! There were only a few colors and I got what they had. When I started using them this morning, I needed a green and did not have it. BUT I had a blue and yellow so was able to mix up a beautiful shade of green. I felt so "artsy." (Wink.)
I stamped my image with VersaFine Onyx Black on watercolor paper before using a circle die. Then I was ready for the FUN part of trying the liquid watercolor by Brea Reese. After coloring only portion, I adhered it to the top part of a white card base. Then I took a flat brush and swiped yellow and then green acrylic paints under the watercolor circle. There is a fun challenge at CAS Mix Up to use acrylic paint, stamping and your choice (my choice was liquid watercolor). They are also celebrating their birthday with nice prizes up for grabs. :) Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty.....if you see liquid watercolors in the clearance aisle....grab them....and send to me. ;)
