Zippity Dog Coffee Card

Back with my second card of the day where I used my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers again.  Those are a lot of fun to play with.  :)  When I saw this dog image I knew I had to have it in my collection (otherwise known as me hoarding stamps.....wink).  It is by Katzelkraft and can be found here.  The word die cut and sentiment are by Casual Fridays and can be seen here and here.  My coffee dog card will be zipping by these fun challenges:

Catnip Coffee Card

Another hot hot day where I live so a good day to stay in and have some crafty fun.  I created two cards today.  The first features a stamp set by Lil'inkers Designs which was begging to get "inky."  I played with my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers too.  I have had them a long time but have not colored much with them.  I think they "scare" me as watercoloing is not something I have done much of.  I did enjoy coloring with them though and promised myself to get them out more often.  My first catnip kitty is going to enter these challenges:

Coffee Powers Card

Cats, coffee and a funny saying.....what could be more fun on a card?  ;)  I'm joining in at the August card challenge at Kat Scrappiness for the first time.  I couldn't resist the theme of "Coffee and Critters!!!!!"  I hope your weekend has been a good one.  I am getting excited about the final episode of Sharp Objects on tonight.  My daughters and I have been watching it together.  I cook supper for all of us on Sunday nights and then we watch Sharp Objects.  My girls and I read the book and have enjoyed seeing it brought to "life" on screen.  My coffee drinking cat will be entering these challenges:

I hope you are having a crafty day.   I got out my Distress Oxide Ink pads and created the background behind the striped frame die cut which looks almost like a rainbow.  :)  What makes you happy?  On this card, I can say rainbows and rubber stamping make me happy.  I'll be linking this one up at:

Wear Denim Card

It has been a while since I created with the Snarky Stampers but the new challenge "D is for Denim" sounded like fun.  I remembered a DCWV paper stack I had which only had denim themed papers.  The only problem was I couldn't remember exactly where it was.  But as luck would have it, I found it without having to search too long.  I found a quote I liked  and stamped it using Hampton Art alphabet stamps except for the word denim.  I used a font and my Silhouette Cameo to create the word diecut (love the weld feature on the Silhouette).  I had a sheet of vintage cowgirls printed out from Lunagirl cause you know how I love to make those vintage images "speak."  ;)  Thanks for stopping by and remember to "stay cool."  I had to take my dog out a few minutes ago and nearly melted.  My opinionated cowgirl is going to join in on the fun at:

A Note of Thanks Card

After doing my early morning walk (to beat the heat), I felt like creating a card!  It was the first time in a while because this summer has been a busy one.  Plus it has a hot one which seems to drain my creative mojo.   I did want to enter the fun challenge at Cupcake Inspirations though because it reminded me of a new stamp set I had by Sugarpea Designs called Class Act.   I'll also enter it at Send A Smile 4 Kids where the theme is Anything Goes.  Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay cool (which means you have to get up pretty early here if you want to go outside....wink).  ;)
