I made this card for a friend's birthday which is coming soon.  She and I always have fun with each other on our birthdays with funny cards.  I think she will get a kick out of this one.  I was playing with my acrylic paints again on this one.  I created the dashes and dots around the card and also on the sentiment.  This funny lady is going to be linking up to the following:

Travel Card

Recently I have been having fun using acrylic paints on my cards.  It may be a phase I am going through but it adds a splash of color to them and I enjoy working with the paints.  They are not expensive and I usually add to my colors each time I visit one of the chain craft stores.  On this card I applied the paints and then adhered a black cardstock word diecut on top of them.  I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Autumn Greetings Card

I have done another card for the Pink and Main Autumn Challenge.  I used their new Fall Bouquets clear stamp set.  Now here is the tricky part, I also wanted to join the Stamping Sensations challenge.  It is a color challenge (see photo below) and the colors are non-traditional fall colors.  So I tried to do a fall card with a "different" color scheme.  Is there a law that says pink can't be used for an autumn card?  I hope not because I used it. I was straightening up my craft room and found this Newton's Nook stamp set which I got recently.  To tell the truth I had forgotten about it and it had a coffee theme.  I was aggravated at myself for not using it during the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  I looked to see how much time was left and had a pleasant surprise....I still had time to get a card made with it and uploaded to the blog hop!  Yay!  So this is definitely my last one for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop (sniff, sniff....trying not to be sad.....wink).  My prickly cactus is also going to be joining:

Scarecrow Coffee Card

We are down to the final hours of the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I was determined to get one more card made!!!  I came in from my morning walk (got to get those 10,000 steps a day) and headed to my craft room.  My scarecrow coffee card is the result.  I like the way he turned out...I think I may work better "under pressure."  (Wink.)  I'm sad to see the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop end.  It has been such fun getting crafty with my coffee stamps and coming up with ideas.  But as Scarlet O'Hara says "tomorrow is another day" and we will have the spring one to look forward to.  My scarecrow will also be scaring up some fun at the following challenges:

Mummy Needs Coffee Card

Sharing another card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I had so much fun making this one.  I inked the background with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink pads and then sprayed lightly with water.  I used stamps, diecuts, inks, embellishments, and paints on this one...you know all the "good stuff."  The hop ends tomorrow so if you haven't gotten inky this week making a coffee card you need to get busy!  Get to work (or I should say "get to fun.")!  (Wink!)   My caffeine addicted mummy is also joining the Marker Pop Halloween challenge plus the C.R.A.F.T. challenge calling for Autumn/Halloween/Thanksgiving.

Strong and Hot Coffee Card

One of my favorite things to do is create funny cards using vintage images so when I get to make one using a coffee theme I am especially happy!  (Wink!)  When I went in my craft room to do another coffee card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, I saw a package of Tim Holtz paper dolls with this gentleman peeking out.  I couldn't resist having some fun with him and found the perfect stamps by STAMPlorations in my stash of coffee stamps.  I wanted to add just a flash of color so brushed on some acrylic paints.

Why She Smiles Card

Coffee To Go? Card

Pumpkin Spice Coffee Card

It's time for the Fall Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!  Yay!  I have been looking forward to it since the summer one (wink).  I am so ready for cooler weather and all things autumn like yes, pumpkin spice!!!!  I used a new stamp set which arrived in the mail today!  The large leaf on the card is a piece of cork I diecut and colored with alcohol markers and a ink pad.  I remembered some leaf brads I thought would be perfect but it took me forever to find them.  I had to play the hunt and search game in my craft room.  Do you ever play that?   I won today because I found the leaf brads but sometimes I lose (wink).   This pumpkin spice coffee wants to play at the following challenges:

Words 2 Craft By Guest Designer Card

I am guest designer at Words 2 Craft By today.  When I saw the new quote challenge  I immediately thought of my Albert Einstein stamp by Stamp Francisco.  Decided to use him for my fun card (besides he had not gotten "inky" in a long time).  (Big wink!)  I typed the quote on my We R Memory Keepers typewriter.  The sentiment borders at top and bottom are clear stamps by Pink and Main (from their Owl Nerds set).  The patterned paper is by Jillibean soup and embossing folder by Darice.  Thanks for stopping by and remember "Geek Is Chic."   Einstein will also be acting up at the following challenges:

Apple Card

Sharing a fast and easy card which I did for some blog challenges.  I did it while watching the news about Hurricane Irma.  I keep thinking about all my card making friends in Florida and feel so sad and helpless for them.  This reminds me of watching the news years ago when Katrina hit New Orleans but this is involving a whole state.  All this after Houston getting hit so hard too.  It really is mind boggling.  I am very thankful today to be in my home safe and dry. Sketch Saturday Love Is In The Air Card

This is a card I did for Sketch Saturday''s Sketch #480.  The sponsor this week is Just Me Digital Stamps.  I worked with a stamp called Raining Hearts.  I printed this image rather large and then just
colored the hearts with alcohol markers.  I matched the hearts to some variegated  hemp cord I had.  I used my Dymo label maker for the sentiments (and their brand of tape).  It was a fast and easy card but I like the way it turned out. My love girl will be also be linking up at:
