I wanted to stay home today and make cards for the Cat Lover's Hop. You know a stay at home in pajamas day without leaving the craft room sort of day.....while the maid and the cook fetched and toted for me. BUT I had a "real life" interruption to that daydream and had to work (and in case you are wondering about that daydream.....in real life I am the "maid and cook" at my house. Wink.) Oh well, I just got up an hour earlier and made a couple of cards. This is my second card for the Cat Lover's Hop today. When you are thinking about what you are going to wear to work plus all the things needing doing before you leave for work, etc....you opt for quick and easy cards. I used a ephemera piece from a Graphic 45 package in their Raining Cats and Dogs collection and then stamped a sentiment and did some dry embossing. I started to take a black marker and fill in an "s" after "cat" on the sentiment because you know no one is happy with just one cat! Gasp....big wink!
I'm linking this card up to these challenges:

I think it IS going to be a stay in pajamas in my craft room today while I have the cook and maid fetch and tote for me. Hubby dear, another coffee, please and don't forget to put the clothes in the dryer. ;D Hopefully I can actually craft instead of just staring at my stamps or leaving comments. LOL Sure do love the addition of that big heart to the Ephemera, Bev. Purrfect place for it and my sentiments exactly. Love the twine and sequins, too. xxD dlmundinger(at)yahoo(dot)com USA
What a wonderful card and a truer saying has never been spoken... stamped, whatever. My cats don't often want me to go to work and I'd rather stay home with them but then who would buy the catfood? We need a sugar daddy, one with extra deep pockets because those cats like high end food (and I like stamp supplies). Love your card and I appreciate your reminding me that I have these same G45 card pieces somewhere in my stash.
Darling! I love that elegant embossing folder!
This is so pretty and the embossed background is really a nice touch. I love the bright sentiment and little sequins too
Tee hee.. I have the same realisation in my house.. cook and maid! In the meantime we can lose ourselves in our crafts. Lovely card.. that image of the lady holding her two cats is gorgeous!
Another great card! Love the pretty colors. Nice sentiment!

Fabulous card, Beverly!
My hubby was out of town all during the Hop so I had fewer distractions and could concentrate on getting my posts assembled and scheduled. After he returned, I had to cook again. Whaaaaat???? But I WILL get around to each project!!
I love how you can make a quick and fabulous card with G45 supplies. Love how you added the dry embossing!!! Beautiful.
Thank you so much for joining in the #CatLoversHop2017!
