Partying Llama Card

I spent some time in my craft room today reorganizing my markers, washi tape and dies.  I "think" I have finally got them the way I want!  I have moved them four times in the last three weeks!    I had them the way I liked until my new Scan N Cut2 came in.  I had to make room for it close to my work desk which meant moving markers and dies.  I'm happy with today's moves though so hopefully I will be able to spend more time making cards and no more time shuffling things around!!!!  I did manage to make one card today to "test" how my reorganizing "worked."  This happy llama wants to party at the these challenges:

Sunday Stamps Challenge (see sketch below)

Good Thoughts Card

I did two "firsts" on this card.  First, I had never used foil transfer sheets.  Second, I had never used linen thread on a card.  You certainly get to try new things if you join the card blog challenges.  I had some foil transfer which I had bought at Hobby Lobby a long time ago on clearance.  I had to borrow some linen thread from a friend who luckily had some.  The flower and bee stamps are new and had never seen ink.  They are by Hampton Art and have matching dies  They will be blooming at the following challenges:

Love To You On Your Birthday Card

The pretty floral stamp on this card was given to me during the Scrapbook Expo (in Duluth, Georgia) in one of the classes I took.  I couldn't wait to get home and get it inked up.  Did you notice what a good job I did cutting it out?  I'm messing with you.  I am the proud new owner of a ScanNCut2 and it came in Saturday.  This was one of the first things I scanned and cut with it.  I was immediately in LOVE with this machine after my first scan and cut of a stamped image!  I'm going to be sending these flowers to play in the following challenges:

Kindness Card

In between packing to go to the Scrapbook Expo in Duluth, Georgia I found a few minutes to "play" in my craft studio.  I had a new stamp set which wanted to get inky.  (Wink.)  Since I didn't have very long to craft I decided to do a CAS (clean and simple) card.  This card is actually prettier in person since my photograph does not show the "sparkle" in the tree very well.  I took a small artist brush and applied glitter Mod Podge to the colored circles (and along top and bottom edges of card).  It gives it just a touch of sparkle and looks so pretty.  As luck would have it there are some CAS challenges this week so I'm sharing "kindness" at the following challenges:

Winnie & Walter's Rerun Challenge (Use their Kindness by Evelin T Designs set)

Shopping Our Stash (CAS)

Less Is More (CAS which is one layered and on a colored cardstock base.)

AAA Clean and Simple Challenges (One layered and on colored cardstock base.)

CARD RECIPE:
Stamps -- Winnie & Walter (Kindness by Evelin T Designs)
Ink Pad -- Clearsnap (Wicked Black)
Markers -- Staedtler
