Catpuccinos Birthday Card

I had a new stamp set begging me to ink it so I was happy to comply.  ;)  It is by Art Impressions and is Cat Mouthful Set (found here).   I was tickled to see the current theme for AI's Challenge is "Furry Friends" because this party loving cat is FURRY!  :)  This party cat is linking up at:

Hope your week is going great.  I've been outside working in our back yard cleaning patio concrete.  Hot and dirty work but now I'm ready to plant more flowers!  I want to get Pentas and Lantana because of  full sun back there. I need flowering plants which love heat and lots of sun.  Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty!  :)

Birthday Friend Card

I'm still working on building my birthday card stash back up.  Birthday cards are just about my favorite kind of card to make.  They celebrate a happy occassion and who doesn't like presents and cake?  Wink.  (We won't even discuss being another year older....but that just means you made another trip around the sun.)  :)  I used a stamp set by Unity Stamp Company called Maggie girl (it's your birthday).  I colored the image with Copic markers.  My birthday girl is going to be partying at:

Birthday Girl Cake Card

I hope you are having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.  I found a few minutes to make a card today in between all the grilling and food preparations.  :)  I have a friend's birthday coming up so thought I would get her card made.  Plus I discovered AAA Cards is celebrating their 5th birthday and have lots of great prizes. I picked the perfect time to do her card.  :)  I used one of my older sets from Concorde and 9th for the cake image.  The sentiment is by Penny Black.  I cut it out with a die by Sizzix.  I hope my friend likes the card as much as I enjoyed making it!  ;)  My birthday cake is joining these challenges:

Cupcake Birthday Card

Do you ever have enough birthday cards?  :)  I sure don't.  Being creative again today working on my birthday card stash.  Since Art Impressions has a fun "Shaped Card" challenge going on, I thought I would make a cupcake card.  I have a friend's birthday coming up and I thought this would be a cute card to enclose with homemade cupcakes.  Yum!  I don't know who is chasing my stamp image (maybe the birthday fairy) but she is going to link up at:

Birthday Man Card

Art Impressions has a fun challenge for a shaped card (not a square or rectangle).  It gave me an excuse to play with new stamps by Art Impressions plus build up my birthday card stash (I never have enough birthday cards)!  I used sentiments and image from their "Never Too Old" stamp sets.  You can see them here and here.  The images and sentiments with these stamp sets just crack me up!  :)  My party man is going to link up at:

Bees and Buying Presents Cards

It is all about crafty fun and all about two totally different themes.  Sometimes when I go in my craft cave, I have no idea what I will be working on .  Other days I know exactly.  :)  Today was a "no idea" day so I visited some challenge blogs looking for inspiration.  So the "Hapbee Birthday" is a result of my looking around different challenges.  My busy bees will be buzzing by:

Stamping Sensations (In An English Country Garden)
Allsorts Challenge (Happy Birthday)
Shopping Our Stash (May Flowers)
I wanted to join in at the Christmas Kickstart Challenge since their theme is "S Is For Snarky Christmas" this time around.  You know how I like to do funny cards.  ;)  Doesn't my vintage image look like she would buy her own Christmas present?  ;)  She is going to be joining these challenges:

Christmas Kickstart Challenge (S Is For Snarky Christmas)
Jingle Belles (Vintage or Retro Vibe)
Stinkin' Inkers Challenge (All Tied Up -- Use Twine, Ribbon or Fibers)

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope your weekend has been a good one.  We have had beautiful weather and I have been enjoying staying outside on the porch with the ceiling fans going and my nose stuck in a book.  :)  I read a whole book yesterday (make sure you read The Silent Patient...so good).  As always, stay crafty!!!

Vintage Santa Card

I have gotten behind with a promise to myself to do a Christmas card every week.  The current Jingle Belles challenge is "An Old Fashioned Christmas" and is all about doing a vintage or retro card.  It sounded like a fun one to get back on track with my Christmas cards.  Looking through my stash of stamps and papers to fit this theme, I found Graphic 45 stamps and patterned papers.  I added embellishments by American Crafts and twine by Maya Road to add the finishing touches.  My St. Nick will be linking up at:

WTF and Drinking Card

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers has a fun challenge which I wanted to join.  It is "W is for WTF."  I created a background with pearl alcohol inks on glossy cardstock.  I embossed the background and lightly sanded the raised part of the embossing so it would show up better.  The stamped image is one by Art Impressons and colored with Copic and Sprectrum Noir alcohol markers.  The sentiment was computer generated and mounted with foam tape for extra dimension.  I put Glossy Accents by Ranger on the wine glasses.  A baker's twine bow was added to the top left corner for a final touch.  Now the hard part is deciding which friend is going to get this in the mail.  ;)  These fun wine tasters are going to link up at:

Shaking Coffee Card

I'm playing with Ken Oliver Color Bursts again today.  I created the background with them.  As you have heard me say many times, I love doing funny cards.  So when I saw the fun sentiment by Stamplorations (which I won in a previous Coffee Lover's blog hop and you can see here) I knew which image I wanted to pair it with.  Isn't she a hoot?  She is "Sylvia" from my stash of Golden Oldies by Art Impressions (you can see her here.)
I used Sprectrum Noir alcohol markers to color the images.  I also used Glossy Accents to add details to the stamped image.  Added some jewels, a bow and BAM....another coffee themed card for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  :)

Doing Nothing Coffee Card

My card today is in honor of my beloved Pepper Jack cat who we had to put to sleep yesterday.  He was a stray who adopted us and who we grew to love.   He got sick in April so the last few weeks have been in and out of the vet's office.  So here's to a dandy of a cat who loved us and who we loved back.  We will miss you Pepper Jack.
I used a stamp by Creative Visions and you can see it here.  The sentiment is a snarky sticker by Tim Holtz ( I LOVE those.)   Thanks for stopping by and hug your dog or cat today.  :) This coffee drinking cat is going to link up at:

Serious Coffee Drinker Card

The Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's blog hop is still going strong.  For this card, I created a background using Ken Oliver Color Burst watercolor powders.  I have the most fun with those powders!

I used a sentiment by Riley and Company to go with my serious coffee drinker image.  I thought it would be funny to put a big bow in her hair.  Luckily I had the right color of green twine to make her perfectly color coordinated.  (Wink.)  Of course a serious coffee drinker needs washi tape with coffee cups on her card too.  Hope my card brings a smile to your face and remember.....stay crafty.  This serious coffee drinker is going to link up at:

Coffee and Happiness Card

Had some fun with my relatively new Foil Quill this morning.  I used it with my Silhouette Cameo 3.  I'm still learning to use it but of course one of the first patterns I got was a coffee cup (from the Silhouette Design Store).  I always have a hard time getting metallic to show up well in my photos.  The foiled cup is done with a gold foil and shows up prettier in person.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder.  The patterned papers are by Echo Park Paper Company.  I'm heading outside to plant my summer flowers in pots for the front porch and back patio.  I'm so ready for warm weather and flowers!  :)  Thanks for checking in and remember to stay crafty!

Drink The Summer Coffee Card

Another fun day for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and creating.  I did an alcohol ink background on glossy cardstock and embossed it.  Then I lightly sanded the top so the design of the embossing folder would show up better.

The large gold foiled sentiment is from a patterned paper pad I got at Michael's a couple of summers ago.  I stamped the "coffee" sentiment and the three coffee cups.  The cups were colored with alcohol markers.  One orange twine bow in the upper right corner and some gold Stickle accents finishes up my summery coffee card.  I hope you are having nice spring weather.  After a rainy weekend, the sun is shining and I have been planting flowers PLUS creating coffee themed cards....what a good day!  :)  Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty!  :)  I'm linking this one up at:

Vintage Crabby Coffee Card

I had a new roll of washi tape with vintage coffee images which was saying "use me."  Do your craft supplies ever talk to you?  (Wink.)  Going through my stash I found a package of Tim Holtz paper dolls and realized they "matched" my new washi tape.
I remembered a new Riley and Company sentiment stamp and it was perfect for my vintage image.  I have always gotten a kick out of putting funny sentiments with vintage people.  I added brown twine and brown sequins for the finishing touch.  FUN card to do.  :)   I hope you have had a nice weekend.  We had overnight guests so lots of food and laughs.  :) My crabby lady will be linking up at:

Java Great Day Card

There are so many cute flamingo items out!  I found CUTE flamingo napkins at my local Dollar General a few weeks ago.  Seeing them made me want to do an old craft technique of adhering paper napkins to cardstock.  You peel the napkin to the first ply and then iron to cardstock using a cheap plastic wrap between the napkin and cardstock.  I have to warn you these are addicting to make (even if you hate ironing).  Wink.  Next I applied a clear glitter glue (I get mine at Michael's with a coupon) with a brush over the top of the finished napkin.  Then you have a fun background to create your card. (You will be looking for pretty napkins everywhere you go).  ;)

What's more fun than a glittered flamingo?   A coffee drinking flamingo of course!  I think this cool flamingo is drinking an iced coffee.  :)  I made this card especially for the 2019 Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  :)  Thanks for stopping by.....now go find a napkin and get to ironing.  :)

Flocking Fabulous Coffee Card

May is a wonderful month for many reasons.....warmer weather, flowers AND the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.  :)  Before my youngest daughter and I headed out for a fun day of shopping, I made a coffee themed card.  If you like making cards, coffee and a chance at some great "crafty" prizes, then join me this week.  So let's get this party started:

I created a background with my new pearl alcohol inks and glossy cardstock.  The flamingo image and sentiment are by W Plus 9 (Flock Yea).  Thanks for stopping by.  This coffee loving flamingo is linking up at:
