Got crafty this morning for a couple of challenges. I had new stamps to play around with too so FUN! First I used Hero Arts Snowflake Swirl Bold Print stamp and stamped it in a bright blue on white cardstock. I used a brush and Distress Oxide ink to go around the edges. I created a snow border at the bottom using stitched edge dies. Next I stamped the Mama Elephant "Tree Picking" stamp set images and colored with alcohol inks. I cut them out using my Scan N Cut which does a great job! I used a snowflake punch and adhered five to the stamped and inked background plus a red bow. Jingle Belles has a Winter Fun challenge and nothing was more fun when I was growing up than to go pick out the family Christmas tree with my parents. ABC Christmas Challenge has "I Is For Inky" and I inked around the edges of the snowflake background. Thanks for stopping by. I'm heading out to our front porch to read in a few minutes. It is a beautiful sunny day here which will make for a nice afternoon of getting lost in a good book! :)

Well TREE-mendous is definitely the correct word for your beautiful scene! Amazing background, stamping and coloring... WOW! So pleased you could join our Winter Fun at Jingle Belles!
I agree about picking out the tree, although we never seemed to measure the size of tree we needed and when we got home, it never fit the space. The most memorable was the year we got too short of a tree, and Mom thought it would be a good idea to put it on top of a stack of catalogs ... until it came crashing down in the middle of the night. Oh the memories LOL ... so glad you joined our Winter Fun prompt at Jingle Belles ... your card is fantastic.
que c'est mignon Bev, adorable, merci de jouer avec nous chez ABC Christmas Card, biz
