25 Days Of Christmas Tags -- Little Drummer Boy Tag

I hope you are having a good Saturday.  It is a tag making and watching college football day at my house.  This is day 11 of  25 Days of Christmas Tags which is hosted by Tracey McNeely.  This is the fourth year for this fun event.  If you are a newbie like me, then read all about it here.  I was inspired by several of the tags of Studio Katia which had animals on them.  They reminded me of this little bear playing a drum which in turn reminded me of the Christmas song "Little Drummer Boy."  I used my typerwriter to type some of the lyrics from the the song.  That's all from me for today.  I have our dinner in the crockpot and it will be ready just in time for the Alabama/Mississippi State game.  Roll Tide and Hail State! Fa La La Llama Christmas Card

I have a fun Christmas card to share with you today featuring Neat & Tangled stamps.  The card uses their Fa La La Llama clear stamp set.  So far this year I have fallen in love with unicorns, cats, coffee and NOW llamas.  When I say"falling in love," what I  mean is collecting these things in stamps!  I also made this card with Lea Lawson's Crafty Comeback Party in mind.  On Day 8, her guest was Neat & Tangled and their prize was a chance play along with them and their creative team for a month.  How cool is that!  You can read all about it here at Lea Lawson Creates.   That's all from me as I am out the door to go crafty shopping.  I discovered yesterday I am out of black and white gingham ribbon and that will NEVER do! This means I have to drive 40+ miles to the nearest chain craft store but that's why I drive a Mini Cooper (it zips to craft stores).  Wink. 25 Days Of Christmas Tags -- Octagon Tag

Can you believe it is already day 10 at 25 Days of Christmas Tags?  Times flies when you are having fun!  If you are a newbie like me, then read all about it here.  The guest today is Winnie & Walter which is one of my favorites (but hey, I have never met a stamp I didn't like.....wink).  I had a new stamp set by Winnie & Walter which wanted to be opened and inked.....ahhh, there is nothing like opening up a new set.  The anticipation of what you will create and all that jazz.  I was inspired by Shay's tags and wanted to see what I could come up with using the octagon shape.  I created a fast and easy tag (since I was also watching the clock...I'm heading out craft shopping this afternoon.  The fact I am out of black and white gingham ribbon is "bugging" me.  Wink.  My craft shopping involves driving 40+ miles to and then back home too.)  Guess I better get going or it will be dark before I even leave.  Hope you are having a good Friday like I am....making tags and then going crafty shopping.  Yep, it is a GOOD one. 25 Days of Christmas Tags -- Reindeer Tag

It is another day of fun at 25 Days of Christmas Tags.  This is day nine of the annual event and if you are a newbie like me then read all about it here.  I was inspired by Kathy Schweinfurth and her cute reindeer tag with the pretty holly leaves.  I used gold sequins for my holly berries with drops of green and then red glitter glue on top of them.  I liked the way that turned out so you will be begging me to stop putting glitter glue on sequins before it is over with....wink.  My reindeer is going to be linking up at:

This is day 8 at 25 Days of Christmas Tags.  If you are a newbie like me, then you can find out how to participate here.  Today I am inspired by Francesca Vignoli's tags.  I liked how she heat embossed the sentiments with silver embossing powder and the pretty Distress Oxide inked backgrounds.  I had a poinsettia stamp which had never seen ink (gasp) so I was happy to finally use it.  It is cold and rainy outside so it was a perfect day to be warm and cozy in my craft room making tags. Another day of fun at  25 Days of Christmas Tags with day 7.   If  you are a newbie like me, then you can read about all the details here.  Today I was inspired by Jeanne Jachna's and Tracy McNeeley's snowflakes on both of their tags.  I was also inspired by the pink in Jeanne's tag as well.  I heat embossed the edge of my tag in a pretty gold but it looks "muddy" in the photo.  (No one ever said I was a great photographer....cook "maybe" but definitely not photographer.)

I am participating in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags for the first time and I am SO excited!  If you are a newbie like me and want all the details, click here.  On day 6, I am inspired by Laura Pryor's happy holidays shaker tag.  I liked the shape of her tag.  It  reminded me of a tag die I have not used in a very long time.   I even had to get in my attic to find it which makes it seem like a new toy!   I also liked the shaker part of her tag and wanted to give that a try too.  I'm also linking this tag up at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge to make a Christmas gift tag.
