I got to spend a rainy morning in my craft room. Crazy weather with thunderstorms going through and then temperatures expected to drop way down tonight. But no matter how crazy, it makes for nice crafting time! Jingle Belles has a challenge of making a card with wrapping paper saved from this past Christmas. One of my husband's friends had his present wrapped in a pretty sentiment gift wrap. However when the present was opened the cardinals and birch tree design was on the under side of the paper. I immediately knew I wanted to save it for making a card! I used a die cut pattern from the Silhouette Design store for the cardinal and tree branch. A stamped sentiment at the top plus musical washi tape and I am on my way to being ready for Christmas mailings in 2024. Yay! I'm linking these cardinals up at:
Thanks for dropping by. Remember to stay warm and dry...hide out in your craft room.

What fabulous paper ... and what a perfect way to use it ... I hope it doesn't get too cold in your corner of the world (ours is beyond freezing). So very glad you joined our first prompt of 2024 at Jingle Belles.
Love those beautiful trees in your paper - the perfect place to put that gorgeous cardinal.
Love how you used that paper, Beverly! Your card is gorgeous, Jo x
I love this card. Great wrap but it's what you did with it- just wonderful. The red and the greys - so pretty!
Oh WOW such a fabulous find of double-sided paper and you've coordinated the perfect elements to make an outstanding card! I love those little strips of washi tape too! So pleased you could join our Jingle Belles fun in 2024!
Wonderful card!
Thanks for playing at the ABC Christmas Challenge!
