Rise and Shine Card

After a busy morning of choosing classes for the Scrapbook Expo in Duluth, Georgia in July, I was able to register for them. So excited to be taking six "technique" classes (watercoloring, etc.) plus escaping a few days with other ladies who like crafting almost as much as me. (Wink.) Then I got to go in my craft room and make this card....see I am having a great day! (BIG wink).

I did this card for the following challenges: Try Stampin' On Tuesday (they have a GREAT sketch challenge this time), Tuesday Throwdown (Anything Goes), Try It On Tuesday (Feathered Friends theme) and City Crafter Challenge (Sunshine theme). I was lucky and found an image of a rooster with a sun in the background in a Crafty Secrets vintage image booklet. I almost jumped for joy (wink). Once I found that image, the card was a breeze. Thanks for stopping by.

It's a lovely card and a fab take on our theme. I love the vintage/nostalgic/ country look of this card and that rooster is the star of the show:) Thanks so much for joining us at CCCB!

What a great card, Bev! I'm definitely not a morning person, but do love to see the sun come up in the summer! Love the colors you've used on your card too...definitely makes me think of summer days long ago. :) Thanks for sharing with us at Try Stampin' or Not on Tuesday.
