Hello Beautiful Card

I recently got a pretty zebra stamp which I had not used before today. I heat embossed it with black powder which really makes the image "pop." I used some zebra print washi tape too in the upper left corner. A few weeks ago I found the coolest washi tape storage units at Michael's. They have four drawers and hold A LOT of washi tape. I got one and filled it up and then had to go get another one for future washi tape purchases. It makes finding what you have so much easier. I didn't even remember this washi tape until I got it stored in my new storage system. Eat Cake Card

I found a little time to play today and join some card challenges. This card is playing in the following: CAS on Sunday (Use a repetitive image...so I stamped the llama three times.) Less Is More (Shimmer...I sprayed the llama images piece of cardstock with glimmer mist which is not showing up in my photograph...grrrr. Also there is glittered Mod Podge dry brushed around the edge so this shimmer you can see.) Flowers and Friends Card

For Mother's Day I got the We R Memory Keepers Typeset typewriter (in black). Yep, my hubby did good! Today was the first time I have used it (up until now just giving it loving looks in my craft room...wink). I wanted it primarily to type sentiments and do some journaling. You know those times when you don't have the right sentiment in your stamp collection OR for those card challenge "quotes" you need. It is going to come in VERY handy...I love it! I put it next to my main work desk so it is always close by. AND because I am so proud of it, I'm putting a photo I took today of it. It has been rainy here for several days which always means "good time to craft." (Wink.) I put this card together playing several card challenges. Rise and Shine Card

After a busy morning of choosing classes for the Scrapbook Expo in Duluth, Georgia in July, I was able to register for them. So excited to be taking six "technique" classes (watercoloring, etc.) plus escaping a few days with other ladies who like crafting almost as much as me. (Wink.) Then I got to go in my craft room and make this card....see I am having a great day! (BIG wink). I was lucky and found an image of a rooster with a sun in the background in a Crafty Secrets vintage image booklet. I almost jumped for joy (wink). Once I found that image, the card was a breeze.
