Mele Kalikimaka Card

Joining the Penguin Palace Challenge one more time since it was a rainy day and I hung out in my craft room.  Since I don't have any holiday stamps by Penguin Palace, I thought it would be fun to use their Aloha Hawaii stamp set to design a Christmas card.  Do you remember the scene from Christmas Vacation where the song Mele Kalikimaka is being sung?  When I saw the hula girl image, I thought of it!  So here is my first Hawaiian Christmas card ever!

There is also a fun challenge going on at Jingle Belles of using bling.  I used small rhinestones for the centers of the flowers on the hula girl plus on the coconuts on the trees.

  1. Love the traditional Christmas colors for your Hawaii scene... adorable card. We are partnering with Jingle Belles Rock for this challenge and would love you to stop over at Double Trouble and share your adorable card with us. Our link is on Jingle Belles post. Hope to see you there and hope you come back to see what Thing 1, 2 and 3 have up their sleeve for future fun challenges.
