The fun is still continuing at the 2019 Cat Lovers Hop. Hope you are not missing out. :) I'm finishing up my Halloween cards today. I got this cute stamp set at Tuesday Mornings a few weeks ago for $2.99. Looking at it in my craft room I got the idea of trying to create the entrance to a house. My idea was to make a door take up most of the space and "hang" the Halloween wreath image on it. I stenciled a brick background on white cardstock using Distress Oxide ink pads. This card was fun to make....so much I had to make another one and change up the colors. I can't decide which one I like the best....do you have a preference? Spooky the cat also made another appearance. He was full from the eyeball treats and is waiting by the door to sneak in the house for a nap. :)
I like this one with the orange door. Would be pretty during October but I might have to repaint the door during the Christmas holidays. (Wink.) I'm linking my door cards up at:
Thanks for checking out my Halloween doors today. Remember to stay crafty (decorate your door for Halloween but watch out for black cats trying to sneak in). ;)
I love this sweet little Halloween card design. Halloween doesn't need to be spooky, as this sweet kitty proves.
ReplyDeleteits very sweet card!
ReplyDeleteHow cute and clever! Love them BOTH! xxD
ReplyDeleteBev, I thought Spooky was Trick or Treat-ing. lol Love the orange door but the one in black and gray is pretty, too! But the orange is my favorite. :-D
ReplyDeleteI like them both but I think I favor the orange door. Wonderful cards.
ReplyDeleteI love both, but the orange is a bit more cheerful & bright. :-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe we'll see the Christmas door for the upcoming coffee hop ...

Both your cards are amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteI love so much the wall background of your first one but my fave card is that with the orange door. Great work!!!

Sweet card.
ReplyDeleteHehehehee.....Spooky is full from his Eyeball Treats!!! :) That made me laugh!! So, yes, of course he is ready for a nap now.
ReplyDeleteI love both of your Door cards. What a creative way to use that pretty Halloween wreath stamp! It's hard to decide which one I like better. The dark one is spookier and has the realistic color for the bricks, but the cheery wreath seems to fit better with the lighter, brighter colors of the second card. They are both wonderful!!
Thank you so much for playing along in the #2019CatLoversHop!!
