Cat "Boo" Card

Woo Hoo!  Exciting happenings going on this week!  It is time for the 5th Cat Lovers Hop!  This will be my third year to join in on the fun (I didn't know about the first two years....sniff, sniff).  :)  Be sure to check it out!  If you love crafting AND cats, then this is for you.  :)  There are lots of games and prizes so I know you will want to participate!!!!!!  As I mentioned in earlier posts, my youngest daughter and I have been making Halloween cards and having the best time.  I made this one with the Cat Lovers Hop in mind.  Found these stamps a few weeks ago at a Tuesday Morning for $2.99.  They are by American Crafts and have several different cat images in the package.  The die cut letters and cat are from my stash of Sizzix dies.  I cut them out with black fun foam for extra dimension.  I dug out one of my Martha Stewart Halloween punches (spider web border) and used patterned paper by DCWV.  I used a couple of orange self adhesive jewels for "cat eyes" for the finishing touch.

Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty (get out those cat stamps and create!).  :)

  1. I'm hopping over from the Cat Lovers Hop. What a great idea to use craft foam. I never thought of that before. Love the gems you used for his eyes.

  2. Don't you just love Tuesday Mornings?!! I went there a few days ago and couldn't even finish looking ... I spent $58!! LOL But very happy with my trip, of course. I didn't see these cute kitties, but as I said, I had to stop looking. This is a fun Halloween card.

  10. Eeek...I think I am glad there is not a Tuesday Morning around here!!! lol... Of course, there isn't ANYTHING "around here" where I live in the mountains of Idaho. We have to travel a half hour to get to the nearest grocery store. But I do plenty of wallet-draining online!!! Oh, yes! Ha.
I love your fun and spooky Halloween card. That arched up kitty is a fabulous focal point with his gleaming orange eyes. Genius to cut him from fun-foam. I need to remember that idea!
Thank you for playing along in the #2019CatLoversHop!!

This is my first year participating in the Cat Lovers Hop - we have eight fur babies (Poopie, Molly, Jack, Walter, Tigger, Milo, Dusty and Mocha Latte) that we love to the moon and back! I'm so happy to see you here also and have the chance to visit your blog!

  22. Jumping over from the Cat Lover's Hop. Your card looks amazing. Our last cat's names was "Boo". She was a rescue cat and I used to make cards from her to the vet for every occasion. This card would have been a purrrfect one! Unfortunately, Boo passed away on my birthday a year and a half ago. But, I still miss her every day.
