I tried to get this posted yesterday but too much going on at my house. Ellen Hutson's 12 Tags of Christmas (With A Feminine Twist) kicked off with day one of fun. Her tag designers for day one were Jennifer McGuire and Carolyn Peeler. Both of them used alcohol inks on their creations and we were challenged to use them too. I did a purple alcohol ink background for my tag. I was inspired by Jennifer's blue swirled ornament and "tried" my hand with purple and red alcohol inks.
Once I got my tag made, I decided I would put it on a card. I'm still behind on the number of Christmas cards I need. So since the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop is going on, I turned it into a "coffee themed" card. I used my Silhouette Cameo 3 to make the cup shaped card. I used a coffee cup stamp (by Paper Sweeties But First, Coffee) and purple ink to create the background.
