25 Days of Christmas Tags started November 1st. I participated in it last year for the first time and enjoyed it SO much. I had "life happenings" though the first two days but have been able to catch up today. So without further ado, here is my tag for day one. My inspiration was Carol Mayne's tag. I liked her stamped snowflake background with pretty word die cut. The background of my tag is not stamped but patterned paper. I have several new paper pads from Michael's with new Christmas collections. Instead of stamping my background, I "cheated" on that aspect....sometimes you want fast and easy (especially this time of year)!!!! ;) Thanks for stopping by and join me in November as I join the fun at 25 Days of Christmas Tags each day. I'm linking up my first tag at:

A great tag, Bevery! I love white on kraft - so special and a great cheat! The die cut words and shiny leaves really set it off! Thanks so much for joining us at Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week!

Bev, I'm so honoured that my tag sparked the creation of your absolutely STUNNING tag! Thank you! Using the paper, in my view, isn't 'cheating'; it's design innovation...and a beautiful one, at that! The sprigs of holly are delightful touches! So thrilled you're joining us in the 25 Days of Christmas Tags gallery; hope you'll play along often!
