I couldn't resist doing one more for the Mod Squad Challenge of Handmade Background Focal. I stamped a leaf background stamp on white cardstock with black ink. Then I colored all the leaves with alcohol markers. The background was adhered to teal and navy cardstock (used a border die on the navy) A simple sentiment and bam.....instand card! (Wink!) Got to run as I'm off to get my grocery pick-up order....staying safe in my car plus saving time letting them do my shopping (which I don't like). Thanks for stopping by and have a crafty day!

Stamped Circles Background Card
I'm entering this in the Mod Squad Challenge of creating a card with a stamped background as your focal and only a sentiment as decoration. I used an older Gina K Designs border stamp set to make the stamped background. I colored in the circles using Copic markers. The sentiment is by Gina K Designs too. Hope you are staying warm and staying stay. Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty.

Winter Day Crafting
It's a dreary cold winter's day and what better way to spend it than making cards for a couple of fun challenges. My first card is for Double D Challenges which is celebrating their sixth birthday/anniversary. The challenge theme is balloons (no hot air balloons either). I used my Silhouette Cameo to create the balloon and die cut sentiment. The stamped sentiment is by Gina K Designs from an older set in my stash.
My second card I did for Mod Squad Challenge which wants you to create a handmade background focal. I used an older Gina K Designs stamps set called Dogwoods and Butterflies. I stamped a dogwood branch background on pink cardstock for my handmade focal. I'm very happy with the way this one turned out. I try to keep several sympathy cards made in advance. Hope you are staying warm and enjoying lots of crafty time. Must dash as it is time for my afternoon tea and biscotti. (Wink.) Challenges entered below:
Mod Squad Challenges (Background Focal) -- MSC/Gina K Designs
Double D Challenges -- Balloons (Celebrating 6th Birthday/Anniversary)
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge -- Something New (New Spellbinders Fluted Classic Ovals Die Set)
Time Out Challenges #203 (New) -- I used a new oval die set.
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge -- Something New (New Spellbinders Fluted Classic Ovals)

Snowflake Coffee Christmas Card
Happy New Year! Let's get this new year started with a new challenge blog plus one of my favorite "oldies" challenge blogs. The new kid on the block is Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge and you know how I love making coffee cards so I'm pretty excited about it! :) Their first challenge went live on January 1st and it is Coffee + Snowflakes. My favorite "oldie" challenge is Jingle Belles which celebrated their twelfth year starting in 2022. One of my New Year's resolutions is to make Christmas cards all through this year so I will not be caught short when the big day rolls around. This year I ran out of Christmas cards and didn't have time to get more made with all the other Christmas "chores" going on. New year, new resolution to do better! Jingle Belles is a fun Christmas challenge blog so it will definitely keep me inspired to make cards! For this card I used metallic rub-on paste in silver rubbed over an snowflake embossed panel (used a Sizzix embossing folder). I paired it with a new coffee cup die cut (my Santa present to me from me....wink). I also used a non shiney metallic cardstock and snowflake die. The sentiment stamp is from Concorde & 9th.
