This is my last entry for the Cat Lovers Hop. I hope you have joined in all the fun this week. :) Do you mail Halloween cards? I mail lots of them to friends. They are my absolute favorite to make! I used my Silhouette Cameo to create the candy corn die cut. Don't these cats look like they have been eating lots of candy? (Probably the way I will look after Halloween too.....wink). I want to thank Janis for putting on the Cat Lovers Hop this year and all her hard work. Thanks for checking out my cat cards this week too....I'm off to hug one of my kittens.

Grinning Cat Card
I made this fun card for Sketch Saturday's #683 challenge. The cat image plus sentiment are by Riley and Company which is one of my favorite stamp companies. Their funny sentiments crack me up. Thanks for stopping by and remember to keep grinning.
Cats and Potato Chips Card
It's time for the 2021 Cat Lovers Hop....oh happy day! :) Hope you will join me this week as I post cards with a cat theme. I love cats and have enough furry friends to prove it (inside and outside). :) I did this card yesterday with a stamp set I found on clearance at Michael's several months ago for $5! I had always wanted this set so it hopped into my shopping cart! :) I had not used it until yesterday either so I guess I was saving it for a special event. I think the Cat Lovers Hop fits the bill nicely! Looking forward to a fun week of seeing plus sharing lots of cat cards in the 2021 Cat Lovers Hop!

Perk Up Soon Card
There is a new challenge up at Coffee Loving Cardmakers. I had a few minutes to "play" this morning in my craftroom and came up with this card. The sentiment and cup image are by Altenew. The patterned papers are by CraftSmith. Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty!
Hello Spring Card
Do you know what is fun about having a daughter who likes to make cards too? She lets you borrow and use her new stamps! My youngest daughter in the last year has really gotten into card making. I'm happy she has discovered this fun hobby. I've always shared my supplies with her so now it is turn to share with me. (Wink.) I had fun using her new set by Hero Arts and Reverse Confetti. I'm going to link it up at the following challenges:
Thanks for stopping by and remember to be kind and take care of each other.

May You Find Comfort Card
Spending time in my craft room working on sympathy cards so I will have some when I need them. Mod Squad Challenges has a Beautiful Butterflies Challenge and I always like to add butterflies to sympathy cards. I used patterned papers by DCWV and stamps by Simon Says Stamp. The butterfly was done with a older EK Success punch. Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty!
You Are Beautiful Card
Spending lovely time in my craft room making cards for the International Women's Day Blog and Insta Hop. If you haven't checked it out, make sure you do. There are lots of beautiful creations to look at plus lots of prizes up for grabs. For this card I used a stamp by Unity Stamp Company. The die cut sentiment was cut with my Silhouette Cameo. The embossing folder is by Sizzix. Thanks for stopping by and remember you are beautiful!

Pink Floral Sympathy Card
Building up my sympathy card stash with this floral card. I used a stamp by Simon Says Stamp, embossing folder by Sizzix, butterfly punch by EK Success and sentiment die cut by Trinity Stamps. Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty!
White Butterflies Sympathy Card
Beautiful Butterflies is the current challenge at Mod Squad Challenges. I love doing cards with butterflies on them. So I thought this would be a good time to build up my sympathy card stash. This is my first try at "no line coloring" so be gentle with me. :) I used a ink pad by Gina K Designs in Barely There for my no line coloring. The floral image is by Simon Says Stamp and the sentiment is by Hero Arts. I used a embossing folder by Sizzix that has butterflies on it. The butterflies on the card were done with a older punch by EK Success. Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty.
I Feel Beautiful Card
This is my third and final card for the International Women's Day Blog and Insta Hop. Make sure you go look at all the beautiful creations by the talented designers and also check out all the prizes. I used a stamp by Unity Stamp Company plus sentiment is by them too. Thanks for stopping by and hope you feel beautiful today. I don't know if I am feeling beautiful but I am definitely feeling grateful. I recently had my 2nd Covid Vaccine shot! :) Looking forward to spending time with my daughters plus friends!

Recliner Nap Birthday Card
Sharing a card I did for my husband's birthday which makes me chuckle looking at the Art Impressions image (Lazy Boy Set). I think they used my hubby as their "model" although he has managed to retain most of his hair. They definitely captured the "nap pose." Time Out Challenges is celebrating their 7th birthday and I wanted to get this linked to their "party." Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty....enjoy those recliner naps!

Thoughts & Prayers Ink Blended Card
Less is More Challenge is celebrating their 10th birthday so congratulations to them. Their current challenge is the "dreaded" one layer card (with a floral theme). You notice I said "dreaded" because I am terrible at one layer cards! I have a hard enough time with clean and simple without it being one layer on top of that! For this card I used a square die and created a stencil to which I placed over my white card base. Then I used three colors of Distress Oxide ink pads and blending brushes. Last I stamped the floral image with black ink on top of the inked square. I added a small sentiment below the inked square. Next I dabbed clear Stickles on three of the flowers using a Q-tip for the final touch. Even though it was the "dreaded" one layer card challenge, I actually enjoyed making this card. Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty (and try your hand at the dreaded one layer card).

Art Impressions Best of 2020 Challenge Card
I wanted to enter the Best of 2020 Challenge at Art Impressions a second time since I had another "favorite." I've always had a hard time making birthday cards for men but with the Art Impressions Laugh Lines collection, it has gotten easier! They make creating male cards fun! The card die is one from Sizzix I've had a while in my stash.
Favorite Birthday Card
The current Art Impressions challenge is "Best of 2020." I had to chuckle at this challenge because will we ever get to the point where we can think of 2020 and think "best." :) Of course if we are talking about crafting, then we can definitely pick a "best." I went through my 2020 card photos and this card is one of my favorites! It uses stamps and sentiments from Art Impressions Laugh Lines collection. It makes me happy looking at it and I hope it brought joy to my friend I mailed it to.
Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty (and don't mention 2020....wink!)

It's The Little Things Card
I had such fun in my craft room creating this card. For my inspiration, I used the colors for the February Altenew Inspiration Challenge of a pretty yellow, magenta and dark green. I also used sketch number six at the Sketch Starter Challenge. I used Altenew's Flourishing Zinnia Layering Stamp and Die Set for my images. This is where the fun came in with all the layering of the stamps and different colors of ink to create the beautiful realistic zinnias. Using the matching dies made cuttting them out fast and easy. I used a sticker from Tim Holtz for the sentiment plus enamel dots by Altenew. I'm mailing this to a special friend on Monday as I'm trying to mail cards to friends each week. I think all of us can use a little mail happiness these days. I hope your weekend is going well....all of our snow has almost disappeared with the sun shining today. Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty!

Butterfly Sketch Card
I finally found my way into my craft after taking a few days off. There has been snow and ice on the ground where I live all week. Instead of more time crafting cards, it has meant more time in the kitchen. I've learned my bunch wants to eat more when stuck at home during a snow storm. (Wink.) I did find time to sit by the windows looking out over the snow and read though, so that was nice! I spent my fun craft time today making a card for the Sketch Starter Challenge. I used sketch #6. The stamp image and sentiment are by Altenew (Butterfly Kisses). Thanks for dropping in and remember to stay crafty (it's cheaper than therapy.....maybe). :)

Your Wings Already Exist Card
I have been snowed in a few days but luckily our power has stayed on. I haven't spent as much time crafting as I wanted since my family is snowed in with me. It seems being snowed in makes all of us hungry for home cooking so my crafty time has been "kp duty." For example, yesterday I made a large pot of Red Beans and Rice, baked a loaf of Green Chiles and Cheddar Cheese Bread and a Chocolate Cobbler for dessert. The best part is having leftovers and getting a night off from cooking later this week. But I digress....I made this card for the Turner Syndrome blog hop. Read all about Turner Syndrome and details of the hop here. I'm sure you will learn something....I know I did. Thanks for stopping by and stay in your crafty space instead of the kitchen....unless you are snowed in. Wink.

Gnome One Like You Card
Staying warm in my craft room and creating for the Memory Box Pretty Purples challenge. Purple is a color I like but rarely use for my cards so this challenge was a "challenge." :) Going through my stash looking for Memory Box stamps, I found this cute little gnome and sentiment. My first thought was to put him on top of a mushroom so I started looking at my Silhouette Cameo design patterns. I saw this cute toadstool "house" (pattern is here) and thought that's where this little gnome stamp LIVES. :) I painted clouds and grass on white card stock using Gina K ink pads for the medium and a waterbrush. Of course the gnome's house had to be two shades of purple! :) Thanks for stopping by and remember to stay crafty (and warm).
My Heart Slimline Card
Hope your weekend is going well and you are staying warm with this crazy cold weather we are having. No problems staying warm in my craft room though so that's where I'm hanging out. :) There are fun Valentine challenges going on and that's where my inspiration took me. I used a stamps set I got last year at Michael's by Recollections which did not get inked....so it was like a new set this year! Isn't that what we crafters do by our stamp collections (or should I say hoarding)? The bracket shaped die cuts on the card were cut with my Silhouette Cameo and were "leftovers" from window cards I had made earlier. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Valentine's Day weekend!
Butterfly Kisses Card
It is freezing outside so I've been staying in my warm craft room making cards. This card combines two challenges. I did it for the 2021 "It's A Girl Thing Blog Hop" which is helping bring awareness toTurner Syndrome. I have learned a lot partcipating in this hop because I was not familiar with Turner Syndrome until last year. This condition occurs one in 2000 female births. For more information, please visit here.
I used the *8 sketch at Sketch Starter Challenge for the design of this card. The stamp set is

Turner Syndrome Hop Brave Enough To Fly Card
Sharing a card for the Turner Syndrome Blog Hop. This is the third year for this inspiring hop. For all the details about Turner Syndrome and the hop visit this link. For this card I used a new product I recently purchased. Have you seen Simon Hurley's stamping foam blocks? You heat them with a heat gun and then press a design onto them. I used an embossing folder for this one.....after pressing the design into the foam, I inked it with Distress Oxide ink pads. The foam blocks can be used over and over simply by reheating and removing the design. Watch a YouTube video by Simon if you are curious. :) The stamps I used are by Hampton Art. Be sure to check out the Turner Syndrome blog hop. Thanks for stopping by and remember to be brave!

Happy Hearts Day Card
More happy stress relieving time in the craft room today. :) I made this one for two challenges. Hero Arts Stay Crafty Challenge of "Include A Heart" plus the last challenge at CAS(E) This Sketch. The stamp image is by Hero Arts from my stash (or is that hoard) of stamps. I also used my trusty Dymo label maker for sentiments and some striped washi tape plus a couple of dies. Another fast and easy card for my Valentine cards to be mailed soon. Thanks for stopping by and XOXO for only you today. ;)
