Take Time To Smell The Flowers Card
Stampin' For The Weekend is playing "Bingo" this week. That's always fun! I chose the row that had: flowers, polka-dots and diecuts. The patterned papers and chipboard bunny are by We R Memory Keepers. The diecuts are Sizzix Framelits (LOVE those). The flower is by Prima Marketing. I also used a polka-dot embossing folder by Sizzix. Another fast and easy card by yours truly. Hope your day is starting off good. Looks like we are in for some rain. I love rainy days when I can stay home all snug in my craft studio. (Not so much when I have to be out in the rain getting wet.) :)

Such A Joy Mom Card
Paper Play has a "For A Mother" challenge going on currently. I had some new goodies by My Mind's Eye in their Follow Your Heart/Be Happy Collection that screamed "mother" cards. :) If you notice on the yellow cardstock, you'll see embossed lines. I did those with my new Martha Stewart Scoring Board. (Don't you love when you find a new "tool" at Hobby Lobby and you are armed for action with a 40% coupon?) :) I'm having fun with it. The large letters were done with the Sizzix eClips (my favorite tool of ALL time). :)
I used the Tween & Look at Me Alphabet Design Cartridge to create those pretty letters. The little flowers are by Prima Marketing. I decided after doing this card I love yellow and red together. :) Hope you have a great Tuesday. I'm looking forward to a UPS delivery scheduled for today. I have lots of new embossing powders, flock and glitter coming from Hampton Art. I will be "sparkling" in my next post. :)

I Hug You Card
Sharing a card I did for some different challenges (which will be listed below). Even though I have a room full of supplies (and I mean a room full), I discovered when making this card I had no ivory lace. I know you are gasping and shocked....probably not as much as ME though. I searched high and low and the only thing even close was white lace. (And yes, I see a shopping trip in my future to buy IVORY lace.) :) The lace was being added as an after thought (which means everything else was already on the card....such as ivory cardstock. After not finding ivory lace with my first search, I did another because surely I had missed it the first time. :) Second search and still no ivory lace.....so what to do? I took the white lace and rubbed it through a purple ink pad (that would explain my purple fingers today). :) The sticker and patterned paper are by BoBunny. The embossing folder is by Sizzix and the sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts. Here's the challenges this card fits:
1) CPS (Sketch)
2) Stamptacular Sunday (Photo Inspiration)
3) Sentimental Sunday (Lace & Pearls)
4) Charisma Cardz (Love Is In The Air)
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have some ivory lace in YOUR stash. Wink. :)
Quilted Inspired Cards Challenge
The Create: cards challenge this week is "Quilt Inspired Cards." Quilts are one of my "favorite" things and I have more than enough in my house to prove it. :) I'm sharing a fast and easy card where I let the patterned paper do all the "quilting" work. :) The paper and stickers are one of Authentique's new collections called Genuine. Throw in some flowers by Prima Marketing, an embossing folder by Sizzix and some Maya Road chipboard and instant gratification. :) I wish I could make an actual "quilt" that fast. :) Hope you are having a fun Monday. (Is that even possible?) :)

Butterfly Circles Card
Paper Sundae's has a circles challenge this week. Circles are always winners with me. I think I use them more than any other geometric shape. Market Street Stamps had the perfect set for this challenge. :) I also got to use my new Martha Stewart "fringe" scissors. How did I live without those? :) The "hi" on the punched butterfly is by Royal Brush. All of the pretty colored cardstock is by Diecuts With A View. Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a "fluttering" beautiful day. :)

From One Nut To Another Card
Casual Friday's challenge this week sounded like fun so here is my "Jest for the Pun of it" card. I used some papers, chipboard and jewels by Little Yellow Bicycle. The polka dots were stamped on the pink paper with a large Hero Arts background stamp. Part of the sentiment was computer generated while the other part was done with my trusty Dymo label maker. I finished it up with some baker's twine from The Twinery. Quick and easy but mostly just fun, fun, fun. :)

Grad Card
Creative Card Crew blog has a masculine card challenge going on this week. I created what I hope is a masculine graduation card. :) My stamped image is by Market Street Stamps and stamped with red, green and blue inks. I used a Sizzix circle framelit to cut the shapes out. I typed the John Updike quote on my computer and printed it out. The small round brads are by Hot Off The Press.
So do you have fun plans for the weekend? I'm planning a relaxing and slow one. I went to the grocery store today and stocked up so I could have a "stay in my jammies" Saturday. :) We'll see if it happens though cause usually when I plan them....they don't happen. :)
Texting Frog Card
I look forward to January and February each year because those are the "slow" months. It's nice to stay inside by the fire and craft, read and just enjoy winter (especially after all the hustle and bustle of the holidays). BUT this year, someone forgot to send the memo for it to slow down! :) I "think" I finally have it under control and hopefully it will not be another six weeks before I post on my blog again. :) Today's fun card is one I did for The {Stamps} of Life. I used sign4froggy, type4background and Love2Hug sets on this one. Hope your winter is being a nice and slow one...thanks for stopping by.
